We arrived at Beach club resort and I loved it straight away. It is a very good 3 star hotel with 4 star service. Dany at the reception is a star. Nothing is to much for him. He organize everything. The rooms are very specious and clean. The pool so refreshing. To the beach just few minutes walk. It is in the middle of everything. Bars, restaurants, shops everything in walking distance, nevertheless it is very quiet during the night. Breakfast is excellent! This is a little oasis in Sihanoukville and I would highly recommend it. The owner Luna is such a great, always friendly and welcoming person. Would love to come back one day. Thank you for making our holiday magical and memorable.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are at the first and second floor. Who does not want to climb the stairs, book a supe...

Located only a five minutes walk from the beach, this hotel give goodd value for the money. The staff is wonderful, they have a nice bar and restaurant, and they have a spa. I really needed an aloe vera treatment after a long day on Ottres Beach.
Nice both for family, couples and solo travellers.

This could be a nice hotel. It's in the middle of all the popular restaurants and near the beach.the pool is very nice, but lacks a pool shower so there is always a film of sunscreen lotion floating on top.The bedroom I had was spacious, unfortunately the pillows on the bed were awful, regular chair cushions stuffed into a pillow case !also, the bed linen did not smell clean, although they were changed every day ! This, for a room that cost me nearly 50 $ a night is inadmissible! The rooms were " tidied" in the morning and not cleaned properly, and my feet were constantly black from walking barefoot ! One morning I was woken by a cleaning lady at 8 am who walked in wanting to clean my room .The other cleaners were nice.
Breakfast was very varied and nice, but I saw one waiter picking up the ham and cheese with his fingers! Which spoilt my appetite. The same waiter constantly took my breakfast plates away although I hadn't finished and told him so. He did it every day ! The reception staff , two boys, were very good and efficient, and also spoke very good English. This hotel needs to be overhauled completely, and needs someone to train those staff that have no idea what they are doing.

Room Tip: That would be difficult until they have overhauled the building, but rooms towards the back of the h...

This is our third choice for somewhere to stay
Based on Tripadvisor comments and the fact that it had a great looking pool

The good things
Great pool
Excellent staff
Great location
Great breakfast

The bad!!
The beds are absolutely terrible,a hard foam mattress
This is made even WORSE by pillows that are as flat as a pancake with foam chip filling ( or I mean lack of filling)
These are the worst ever pillows I've had to use in 25 years of travel in Asia!!!
The bed linen is very thin and worn And more of a light grey/ brown, these need throwing out!
The pool towels don't appear to have had a good wash for years
Old style tv well past it's use by date
Air con noisy and even on full power on the lowest setting , struggles to cool room
The bathroom shower was only ever warm
And generally the fixtures and fitting were well worn

This place has a lot going for it
And as you can see some things pull this place down All of the bad things can be sorted , if not this place is on a downward spiral
They have managed to get the bulk of things right , but this doesn't offset the basic bad ones
For gods sake invest some of your money on the fabric of the rooms
The interior of our room spoilt the stay and made us move on earlier than we would have done
This place has got lots of potential and I would consider buying it and sorting out these minor problems

I don't know if the Danish lady that runs it is a partner in this but she works extremely hard to keep people happy and Also I assume she's responsible for training staff
She deserves a medal
Would I stay again NO!
Unless of course they stood back and realised that they need to spend some monies on the place ! And did !!

I hope they sort things as this place has great potential
And I get not pleasure in writing bad reviews
But it helps fellow travellers and ALS lets the owners know what we really think of their places!!
Please check out my photos !!

We stayed here for around 10 days with a break in middle over xmas and new year. During time here made a point of checking the 4 or 5 other highly ranked comparable trip advisor hotels in Sihanoukville. Hotel communicates very well through booking process by email. Accomodating of several changes to dates.
Rooms very large by standard in Sihanoukville. Beds were huge. Aircon great. Bathrooms huge. Fussy people might say the rooms are "tired" The owner agrees and is soon to upgrade. That said they are still very nice at the price point and we are really just talking about a new paint job and some new bathroom fittings etc.
Pool area and bar restaurant superb. Spacious and a "resort" feel to it. Lots of sun and warm water. Wifi good.
Food and drinks very well priced in an area that is super cheap by Cambodia standards. A brilliant restaurant over the road ( Grand kampachea).
Hotel is a block back from the beach. 3 minute walk. Road located on is quiet and away from any madness". A five minute walk to the centre of the backpacker area.
Owner and staff were amongst the best we encountered on this trip. Helpful and very nice people.Proud of their hotel and rightly so.
Motorbike hire available through the hotel at $5 per day.
Whilst not hotel specific I would comment that:
The beach this hotel is close to is end to end restaurants and bars however water is not the cleanest . Sand is excellent and nice place to chill when you have the pool close by.
Otres Beach is a 10 minute motorbike ride on roads with no traffic. A huge beach, clean and bars and accomodation concentrated only in limited numbers at each end
Victory BEach etc around 10 minutes motorbike ride opposite direction . Not much reason to go there when you have otres close by.
Beach Club is perfect really Amongst the action but quiet street. Close to nightlife but also close to the best beach in the area Otres.
Wouldnt consider staying anywhere else at this price point

Room Tip: rooms over the road have great balcony but are still quiet

My family and I stayed here for one night during a side trip to Sihanoukville. It is locted just 2 blocks from the ocean, which is a very easy walking distance. The pool at the property is nice. Room was large, but somewhat underwhelming in comparison to the amount charged in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in Cambodia. Staff were helpful & offered the complimentary use of a local cell phone if needed, which was a nice touch. Overall 4 rating. Not amazing, but certainly better than many other hotels.

I have stayed at this place only once, very clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere, easy surroundings, the food is good especially the morning breakfast buffet. I eat there most mornings, the best in town ! the staff all well spoken and friendly, the happy hour's not bad either ! good value this place.
