In acreage, this is the largest winery in either Sonoma or Napa, and was our favorite after trying several places to visit and taste wine. Unlike some places where you taste $50 and up wine (ones that WE would never buy), at Kunde some of the wines are affordable. We took the free tour through the cave (OK, nothing special), but the guide had so much interesting information about the family and the estate, made it very worthwhile for us. The tasting room isn't very large and there's not a lot to see, but the staff are more than pleasant and made us feel welcome. The reds we tasted were among the best we found in Sonoma.
