We enjoyed a very good meal, served by a personable waitress whom we enjoyed visiting with. The vegetables served with our entrees were fabulous - cooked red cabbage, carrots, broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. By the end of the meal, we did get a bit tired of the 1930's tunes playing in the background. But other than that, a very enjoyable time.

We ate lunch here on labour day. The service was good. The kids had spaghetti (one with meat sauce, the other with butter) and finished it all. I had the meat ravioli which was excellent. My wife had the spinach tortellini which was also very good (though she found it a bit "heavy").
All in all a very pleasant lunch.
Only thing - I would have preferred if they wouldn't come by every minute to ask if they can take our plates. My daughter suggested they might be short on plates...

The food was great and the service was excellent and they take reservations. Don't make the mistake of ordering appetizers like we did, weren't able to finish our dinners.

We decided to go to Romanos since it was right down the street from the Julian Gold Rush Bed and Breakfast. We had Lasagna and pizza. Really good!

Go before 8pm they close early, the food was excellent. Soups and breads are all home made.
