This is a very nice B&B. Easy to get to local tourist attractions. The restauarant and bar have great food and pricing. No TV in the rooms, but you probably won't need one. Vintage furnishings and resident ghost makes this a fun stay. Most rooms have their own bath. The staff here are the best. Parking only on the street.

Was a very good visit. Staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. Very helpful in what to look for in regards to site seeing.

Breakfast was simple but yet satisfying. The also offer a great deal of local wines to choose from for your dinner or brunch.

We were glad there were no TV's in the rooms as this would take away from the atmosphere it presented. We would definitely stay there again.

A chance to get away from the cold, steel and plastic modern hotels. Nine room with bathrooms, fresh coffee in the morning, non-continental breakfast and an owner who will give you a personal tour of the hotel and tell you about Flo, the resident ghost. Great dining room with flambe's for dessert. Comfortable beds and two person showers with separate shower heads. Separate soaking room with old fashioned tub and bath salts. Pets OK, in fact bring a pet and they get a separate welcome basket with mat, bowl, treats, etc.

I have stayed in many luxury hotels and actually currently work in the hospitality industry, but this was my first bed & breakfast. This hotel is the best of the hotel on the street and most expensive, but worth the money. The staff is very friendly, it kind of took me back to see an entire staff so friendly and willing to help in any way. The man who check us in was pleasant and showed up to our room. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We decided to split the steak and we are glad we did because the steak was huge & delicious, even with the steak split, we were not able to eat it all.
The only down side was the walls are thin. Our room was off the main street and I was woken up a few time due to noise outside. Also I could hear the room next door and any notice that came from down stairs or when someone walks up the stairs. There are no TV's in the room, but you can get one for a small fee. I found that very strange since every hotel I have been in had a TV. I think that why I didn't rate this hotel as very good since there was not TV. If you do pay the small fee for the TV, you will get a 16 or so screen. The breakfast in the morning was nice, but not enough to get full. The small selection buffet may have been due to the occupancy in the hotel at the time we stayed. Plus we eat at 8am, so it is possible the full selection was not laid out, but the French toast was the best. My advice is eat breakfast around 9 to get your day going and then have a lunch in the town.
The bathroom had nice amenities and room had lot of old world charm. If you were born before 1970 & believe you will love this place. If you're in the area it's worth checking out.

We both think this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in any where in the world for Individuality and friendliness. It was very comfortable and It came with it's own ghost although luckily we didn't meet Flo. It came with breakfast which wasn't the best but dinner in the restaurant was lovely and lots of local wines on offer. The bar had a really great atmosphere and the barman Brian couldn't have been more helpful. Also a bonus - no television.

A friend and I stayed in Room 7; and it was Halloween night. First we heard like someone was getting rid of bottles. Then we experience scraping noise behind the wall which was behind the bed. It was an experience that I will never forget.
I also experienced like someone was touching me on the balcony outside; but as the staff informed us about "Flo".

My wife & I stayed here for 1 night in July 2010, we knew what to expect as we had stayed here last year, I am pleased to report that the place is still as good as ever. The rooms are great, staff welcoming, helpful and always have time for a chat. We ate in the restaurant and once again could not find fault with either the food, the service or the wine list! On arrival we stopped off for a cold one in the bar, and enjoyed the ambience of the room.We decided to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony overlooking the main street, sheer bliss! It was nice to meet the owner later (steve?) and enjoyed apost dinner drink & chat in the bar. I can not priase this hotel enough we will be back again!
