“What a great, quiet getaway!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

We loved camping at Jackson Rancheria! It was wonderful. So quiet and so clean. The shuttle to the casino was great. The pool area so welcome during the heat of the day. It really helped that I was able to take the shuttle to their 24 store for snacks and soda. We loved the wide pad with plenty of space for our awning. Our dog loved the grassy area as we do not have a lawn at home. We also appreciated the trail around the campground (with dog "collection" bags provided) and the dog park. We will be back.

Although the threat of a power cutoff by PG&E loomed over us during our stay, it was still pleasant.

Still a young park, and no shade from the extreme heat at the time.

Unfortunately a late arrival had their generator going all night as they chose not to plug in which was annoying. Noise regulation was not enforced for some reason.

Pool was refreshing!

Casino tables of lower denominations were insufficient as they were always crowded.

Saw baby fawns that were recently born.

Room Tip: Be prepared for heat in summer, regardless of which site you choose.

Wonderful RV park. Loved the location. The sites are large, and nicely spaced for privacy. The few draw backs (not really complaints) are.... there is no fitness center and the pool depth is 1.5 to 4.5 feet. There are 2 hot tubs, each can accommodate comfortably 3 people.

There's not much to add to my previous review of this outstanding RV park. Everything is sparkling clean and tidy, the staff is across-the-board great, and the camp spaces are well designed and spacious with pleasant views.

It deserves its Good Sam 10-10-10 rating.

As for my one little complaint - during our stay this time we did laundry. Uh-oh. Mistake. The tribe should spend some money and build an entirely new laundry room. Honestly, I was shocked!

To start, there is only one laundry room for all 100 RV spaces. This would be okay if it were large, but it's not. It's tiny. There are two washing machines. That's it. Two! Just two! There are only three dryers.

This is for the entire park!

And, one of the washers wouldn't start, so my husband had to go fetch an employee who opened it up, jiggled some wires and then it ran okay. This happened twice, since I had to wash four loads.

It took hours :-(

The tiny laundry room was also hot inside. Granted it was a warm day, but this was in March. There appeared to be no A/C and no cross ventilation. I bet in summer it would be stifling in there. Ugh.

-> By comparison, another tribal owned 10-10-10 park, (Seven Feathers in Oregon) has two spacious laundry rooms with a total of 10 washers and 10 dryers for 191 spaces.

Lesson learned - next time we stay here I won't do laundry!

Other than that, this is a wonderful RV park.

Room Tip: Avoid the laundry room until they build a new one!

This is one of the cleanest and well maintained parks I have encountered. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Great views of the foothills. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes to take you to the casino or to have a great meal.

What a pleasure it was to stay at a very well run RV Park. The park is extremely well maintained and in fantastic condition. The spaces are plenty wide and easy to back into. The view from the park is nice with the beauty of the foothills all around you. It is a very relaxing atmosphere. Besides the fun of the Casino, there are many places to explore in the Jackson area. We will surely be back again.

This RV Park was almost perfect but still excellent! As others have mentioned their wifi comes and goes which is frustrating when you want to get some work done so you can enjoy the beautiful park. The staff is most unusual for this industry. I felt like I was as a 5 star hotel. They couldn't have been more helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening at the clubhouse which is top notch. The shuttle (you can just flag them down as they pass your RV) is very convenient to get to the casino which just finished an 80 million dollar renovation. Wineries and nearby quaint towns all add to the enjoyment of the area.
