It used to be better. The last three times that we've been there, the orders have been wrong. The atmosphere is good, but what should matter is the food. We'll give it one more chance, and that's it!

“It's typical "chain" food.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

The facility is nice, it's clean, the staff is fine but there is nothing really notable to mention. The food is marginal and you could probably get better food from an Olive Garden some where. If you live close, then it's fine but I would not recommend driving there just for the food.

“Irvine-Tustin, worth the drive...Best Macaroni Grill in the area”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

We have to drive a few extra miles to get to this particular Macaroni Grill, but it's so worth it! (The one in Aliso Viejo never fails to disappoint us.) We love the happy hour in the bar...lots of specials plus the regular menu. My hubby always has the peperoni pizza, only $5! There is also a happy hour special on the appetizers, so I have a couple for my dinner. Love the goat cheese stuffed peppadews along with the spicy meatballs. The semi circular bar invites conversation and there is a large patio with heaters and umbrellas. Kevin, the bartender, is amazing...always right on it and very friendly. We feel like locals there.

The bread is great; they have do it yourself pasta. Order a bottle of wine; and if you can't finish it, you can bring it home!

“Fun and Filling”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2012

As chains go this restaurant is typical of an Italian eatery. Butcher's paper on the table as a table cloth so servers can write theirs names and you can keep the kids busy coloring while waiting for your meals. Nothing spectacular, filling pastas, breads served with balsamic vinegar and oil, wines beers and bar drinks. If anyone has read my reviews before , you will know I am all about the desserts! The dessert menu has cakes and ice cream and all the high calorie favorites. The portions are large enough to share for two or with a family get a few with extra spoons and dig in!
