We used to frequent here A LOT when Jay used to work here. He was pretty much the life of the place. When you go to a sushi joint you want the sushi chefs to greet you and say hi - give you great service. Ever since he left to open his place down in San Marcos last year, the place is not the same. It used to be packed, now it's empty and I assume because Jay is gone. The food is OK now - the quality isn't the same. I have to agree though, some of the waitresses were rude when we were there, but Jay did say something to them when that happened. THat's why we sat at the sushi bar.
They are unreliable with their hours - we must admit that. We were just there last Friday and they were really empty because of the heavy rain, so they were closing early. Food was alright - quality is not there as it used to be.
