Chinez Chinese restaurant is a surprisingly good, small place, located in the Westpark Plaza in Irvine. Not fancy, but service is good, the menu is large, and the food is significantly above average. The Peking duck is excellent, and the other dishes were all quite tasty. Prices are reasonable: dinner (stuffed full) was about $25 per person.

We eat here everytime we are in Irvine. The food is great and they will modify if you wnat less spice or less sugar.

This is one of our regular places and has good food in a nice atmosphere with cloth napkins, tablecloths and good food. It is on the pricey side, but we usually order fewer entrees than we have people, so that keeps the price down. The service is good and it is quiet, unlike some of the bigger Chinese restaurants in Irvine (Sam Woo; good, but a very different experience)

Chinez is awesome! I am so glad to have found a delicious Chinese restaurant in Irvine that properly cooks their food (I have had food poisoning from another establishment...). I have eaten in the dining room a few times, and the food has been fresh and delicious, the wait staff attentive and polite. Depending on how you structure your meal, Chinez can be reasonably priced. Their portions are enough that my husband and I can split soup and an entree, and get our of there for under $20.

Each time I get the hot and sour soup. After discovering it my first time there, there is no going back. It is cooked with yummy meat and shrimp, giving it some awesome flavor. We have also tried the general chicken, Mongolian beef, and broccoli beef. All of which have been very yummy!

We usually order takeout as opposed to eating in. However, when we eat in the service is great. And of course, the food is tasty either way.

We have been dining at Chinez for some time, however, their prices continue to rise, not enough wait staff, and ridiculesly small portions. Recently, we had to order additional dishes so that we had enough to eat. We ordered mu shu pork and they only brought out 2 servings for 3 adults. The owner is rude and never thanks us for our loyality. Never again will we eat there.
