Stayed here during a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore. Absolutely Immaculate ! Lots of attention to detail including a box of tissues next to the bed ! Up to date furnishings and enormous bathroom. Mini kitchen allowed for easy breakfast chores. Lovely view of the bay from balcony !

This property is the perfect location for exploring the Point Reyes National Seashore. It also has amenities that other lodgings in the area don't provide. TV, free Wi-Fi, updated accommodations, microwave, fridge, and views of Tomales Bay. Restaurant on property is not in service at this time. Picked up food items in the small town of Inverness Park at Perry's Deli and had our dinner dockside on the bay. A variety of room choices and friendly check-in and check-out made the overnight stay perfect. At check-in, the gal at the front desk reminded us to get to the Lighthouse before closing time at 4:00. The next morning when we checked out, the receptionist offered us a "to-go" snack...a crisp apple, orange juice, and a muffin. Great place to base for all that Point Reyes has to offer

Room Tip: We stayed in the Driftroom (economy) rooms. Quiet...didn't hear any traffic noise.

We stayed for two nights and they're upgrading. We had one of the cheapest rooms, which had new windows and upgraded bathroom. Beds were ok. The carpet however was old and smelled musty. The service was friendly and efficient. We will try again, but will make sure the room has been fully upgraded.

Room Tip: stay in an upgraded room--double check before booking

We recently stayed here for one night on July 10. We reserved A Bayside room and were not disappointed. Nice queen bed very comfortable with stove fireplace, microwave, mini fridge, and beautiful view of the bay with your own small patio outside. The room was immaculately clean and roomy. We loved this place, it was our anniversary and we couldn't have been in a better place for the money. For dinner we went to Nicks Cove in Marshall, Ca, well worth the drive there, check it out! Great location in Point Reyes! We will return again and if your are into stargazing, this is the best place ever to stargaze!

The remodeled bungalow rooms are bright clean with wonderful views. They provide a great base for chatting and playing scrabble or deciding what to do next. The pool was a bit too cold for most I would think. The check in was efficient but quirky. We love the location and hope to return soon.

Room Tip: The web map is confusing. It is best to call and have a bit of help if you want a particular view. C...

We have stayed in the Point Reyes-Inverness area last year, and this visit we tried the Tomales Bay side of the pennisula. The room was comfortable with a supportive bed, refrigerator with freezer to store our purchased food, and microwave so that we could prepare our breakfast. There is a small table with chairs for eating meals, and a gas fireplace.

Each of the hosts, Tom and Cassandra, were gracious and helpful with valuable advice on dining and attraction to supplement the summary list of activities prepared on the white board in the office. A welcome addtion to the grounds is a bright garden where quail visit. Next door is a kayak rental shop.

Nearby, there are pleasant walks to take along Sir Frances Drake Boulevard. The motel is in a great location mi- way between the Lighthouse, Oyster Farm, organic dairy tour, and the major Point Reyes Visitor Center, as well as Point Reyes Station community where we did most of our meal shopping for take out. The restaurant on site was closed that weekend, but apparantly a Thai-themed eatery is being proposed, but not yet open.

We'll come again!

Room Tip: Check out the on-line map of the rooms. The pool is unheated and little used, so the several rooms...

We enjoyed our stay at Tomales Bay Resort. We booked the Tomales Bay Suite room - there was a very comforable king size bed in the bedroom; large bathroom (with big shower) and also a very comfortable front room that faced the bay with glorious bay views. The front room had comfortable couches, chairs, desk, tables, and more. It would make a great place for a larger group for a get away or meeting.

There was a TV in both rooms which was great as we were there when the Indianapolis 500 was on TV (we always watch). There are lots of TV channels. While Tomales Bay is great just to relax at, its nice to have a resort where they also have TV (some places in the area do not have TV).

There is also a microwave and refrigerator in the room - This would out great for lunch as we dined at local restaurants (and their portion size was large). This made for a great way to warm up the food for lunch.

The place is great if you kayak. there is a kayak rental company right next door - and we enjoyed watching groups of people get ready to go on kayak trips.

The location is very good - it is close to Point Reyes as well as Inverness and Pt Reyes Station.

We paid less than $200 a night for the room - which is a good rate for a bay front 2 room suite on Memorial Day Weekend.

Also, although it is on the main road to Point Reyes Seashore, our room was very quiet both at day and at night. I expected more noise, but was happily surprised how quiet it was.

There is also a nice swimming pool on site. There is a restaurant space on site - and it looks like they are trying to find someone to run the place.
