Everything was perfect! David and Nancy are gracious, generous, and fun to talk to and the house and scenery are to die for! The afternoon tea and snacks and the breakfasts were fantastic and the deck with constant hummingbird action was magical. I could go on and on, but what I really want to say is GO THERE!

Room Tip: There are only 2 rooms and you can't go wrong with either one.

My girlfriend and I have stayed with David and Nancy at Osprey Peak twice now, and we are so glad we discovered this place. Secluded and remote enough to feel like you're far away, but also close to great activities, food, et cetera. Rustic and natural, but also perfectly immaculate and comfortable. I've never felt so relaxed and rejuvenated as I have after returning home from a long weekend at Osprey Peak. David and Nancy are complete pros, and somehow manage to attend to your smallest need, while also giving you the perfect amount of space and quiet. They really do care deeply about making sure their guests have a perfect stay, and it shows. They're also extremely knowledgable about the area, and can help you plan a perfect day if you'd like to get out but aren't quite sure what to do. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend away, I don't know of a better place. Osprey Peak will always be a special place for us -- can't wait to return.

Our most recent visit to this enchanting B & B perched atop a ridge in the middle of a dense and fascinating forest was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit two or so years ago. Nancy and David have only one goal and that is the complete satisfaction of their guests. Their attention to the smallest detail of your stay gives ample evidence of their passion for innkeeping at a level that is unparalleled. And the breakfast, oh, the breakfast.

We're locals who love Point Reyes (Inverness is on Tomales Bay. on the edge of the park) but had never stayed at a B&B or motel there. This year we stayed two nights at Osprey Peak for our wedding anniversary. We wanted serenity and beauty, and this place is rich in both. It sits at the top of a thickly wooded hill. Ospreys nest there, The inn has are only two guest rooms, both spacious and high-ceilinged; a common area and deck; and the inn-keepers' residence on the other side of the common area. It has something of the look and feel of a rustic Japanese inn (but alas, no hot tubs) We found Nancy and David wonderfully thoughtful, warm and welcoming, always available but never obtrusive. Wall hangings contribute depth of feeling and are all Nancy's work, Our breakfasts were delicious, abundant, and beautifully presented. This inn is a labor of love.

this was our favorite spot on a 3 week tour around northern california. our room was perfectly serene. the location is spectacular. we found the hosts to be kind, helpful, and thoughtful without being obtrusive. we really wished we had more than one night to spend here... i would revisit in a heartbeat. this is truly a gem of a guesthouse.

We stayed two nights at this lovely and quiet B&B. Comfortable beds and high ceilings with windows looking over some beautiful trees. Nancy and David served the hands down best breakfast we have ever had with excellent coffee available an hour before breakfast when we asked for it. Their oatmeal cookies and (birthday) brownies were exquisite! Very nice hiking in the area, too. Pt. Reyes and Inverness are really beautiful places. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Both rooms are the same and are quiet and nicely decorated.

You have to know it's there, off the main road and up a winding private drive. My husband and I were so glad we learned of Osprey Peak from the rave reviews on tripadvisor. If you've read them, you know that Nancy and Dave are wonderful hosts -- knowledgeable about the area and great fun to talk to. You know about the amazing number of hummingbirds, the delicious breakfasts and the pristine and comfortable rooms. A special note: I treated myself to an aromatherapy massage in Nancy's serene treatment room. Bliss!
