Just needed a place to crash the night before a flight from LAX, didn't expect much from a $50 a night place in nasty Inglewood, but I wouldn't stay here with any paramour or family unless I was really desperate. Really, spend the extra $10 or $20 , preferably out of Inglewood.
First off, it's in a terrible neighborhood, lots of graffiti, a liquor store across the street, bars on the windows of neighboring houses, a few taco shops around, but not too safe, especially later at night.
Had to wait around a bit for the clerk, he was pretty nice once he got around to checking me in. Beat up elevator, pretty much the same as the rest of the property. The room was a decent size but didn't look super clean. Brought some disposable cleanups, wiped most things I would touch in the room down. Bathroom and shower also a pretty good size, but the tub bottom was sort of stained and the shower head was quite dirty. Toilet paper holder was also coming off the wall. Not the most comfy mattress either and thin thin Ikea-style sheet. A bit noisy from barking dogs and some airplane noise, people running up and down the stairs at 1:30 am.
Breakfast was in a tiny room next to front desk, a few packaged donuts, coffee,
Not dangerous, but one of the lamer places I have stayed at.More
