Rooms better then expected

So we needed a cheap room to just stay for one night after taking a late flight in before we headed to Santa Monica. The Super 8 was only a 10-15 minute drive from the airport. From the outside it really does look dumpy. Check-in was the same. The reception area was small and kind of dirty. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly either. However, our room was surprisingly really nice. Clean, comfortable and looked like it was recently updated. Continental breakfast was kind of a joke with just a few things and one or two tables which again was in the check-in area. Staff member working in the morning was very friendly! Overall I would say definitely worth the money for a quick overnight near the airport!
