This is your typical small, family Mexican restaurant; spare decor, small inside, but awesome food! :) We have been to Mexican restaurants all over California, and my parents have been to Mexican restaurants all over the states, and we agreed it was some of the best. My parents went back a few days later they enjoyed it so much.

Forget ambiance and decor - however, the food was great and service excellent. Start with the shrimp stuffed chilies - lemon juice, soy sauce, mayonnaise??? Somehow it works. Fun way to end the vacation in Palm Springs -

Agree with others - great Mexican food. Resteraunt was full during the off season; always a good sign. The service seemed a bit disorganized and the decore is pretty sparse, but more than made up for by the excellent food. I had the Chile Rellenos. The best I have ever had! My wife had Chile Verde - also excellent. We would definitely return for more.

I love authentic Mexican food and have tried many places including throughout Mexico, Texas and California. This is absolutely the best Mexican food I have ever had. The mixed seafood soup (Caldo Siete Mares) was spectacular with crab, mussels, calamari and a big chunk of fish and the shrimp stuffed yellow pepper (Chiles Gueritos) is truly amazing.
