Spent last Saturday at the Cantina, at Eldorado Polo fields In Indio, Ca This is a perfect spot to spend the day with friends, Good inexpensive food and the best margaritas, The Cantina sits right on the edge of the polo field, so the game is right in front of you, Green fields with a beautiful backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains. If you like to photograph sports events you can't beat the venue. It's on 51st ave which runs between Monroe and Madison, If you enter from Madison side you avoid the heavy traffic on Monroe.

There are free matchs every Saturday and Sunday

The traffic on Monroe was HORRIBLE the first day of out lacrosse tournament. The police managed traffic on Sunday and it was MUCH improved. The polo grounds are beautiful. A great place for a large gathering. I heard they had 2000 kids playing over the weekend.

We had never been to a Polo match before and it really was fun. Even though we have no idea what the rules are it was just fun to watch it. How those players can swing and hit that ball is amazing. This Polo club you sit outside on the grass or there are bleachers. You can bring your own food and drink. We saw people pouring wine, drinking beer having cocktails, lots of fun stuff. We didn't stay long because we didn't know about all the stuff you could bring. If we come back Rving in the Palm Desert area next year we will be back for sure. We will have all the goodys and bring chairs.
