Stayed at Indian Wells Resort hotel on the way home from a Spring Training trip in Az. Booked through Priceline, which rated this "resort" as 3 ***. Nothing special about hotel. It was clean but didn't have the feel of a resort. No bathrobes as promised. Linens were average at best. Bed hard. They also charge a Hotel/Resort fee of $18 ad tax that by 9.25%. Not worth the $$ unless you can get for well under $100.

You get what you pay for when it comes to Priceline I suppose. The lobby/restaurant/pool all seem quite nice but the rooms, floors, elevevators are all pretty worn and torn. Out of the 2 days there I had to switch from one uncomfortable room to a roomo plagued by noise from people walking around upstairs from 5am till the time I said "lets get the hell out of here". A nice relaxing romantic weekend in palm springs was nearly ruined by this hotel.. Fortunately the city is nice and we had a good time.

Staying here for one evening was a very pleasant surprise, especially after reading so many negative reviews here. I booked my room through Priceline for $51.90. The room was quite large, with pleasant furnishings, and the bathroom was very modern, clean and bright. There were 2 queen sized beds in my room, and I thought the mattress was very comfortable. I was on the road side but the traffic noise did not bother me. I loved the outdoor hot tub and met some nice people there who recommended the Joshua Tree National Park as the dessert flowers were in full bloom. The hot tub water was perfect, clean and the stars in the sky were bright! In the morning I realized just how beautiful the swimming pool area is, as it overlooks the golf course, and the palm trees and mountains...very nice! I had a wonderful evening and I am planning to return in 2 weeks. I went to the Joshua Tree to see the flowers and they were amazing! I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great deal!

We have just returned from a week in the Palm Springs area, specifically at the Indian Wells Resort Hotel. Our suite had a king bed that was remarkably comfortable, a reasonably sized living room, and a huge bathroom with an extra long tub with a large adjacent glassed-in shower. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The dining room provides OK breakfasts, even better if you order off the menu as opposed to the freebie buffet. There is also an open lounge area with large screen TV and nightly musical entertainment. A real bonus to this hotel is the little "gift" store which has amazing women's clothing and accesories.
The downside of this hotel for us was that our suite was on the 2nd floor and the noise from people walking around in the suite above often woke us up or simply kept us awake. Believe it or not, their walking (sounded like stomping) actually shook the walls! If I was to do this again, I would ask for a top (3rd) floor suite or room.
We would certainly go back again, but I would want a suite and I'd ask for a top floor overlooking the pool and golf course. The service at this hotel was excellent and I would highly recommend that you try it out.

I was alittle worried when reading the other reviews of the poor facilities and dirty carpets, but that in my opinion was old news. The Indian Wells Resort that i just vacationed at was clean, new carpet, fresh painted, and wonderful to stay at.

My wife and son enjoyed the pool and dinner at the on site restaurant. The breakfast was not a "10", typical freebie stuff of breads and simple muffins. I did like the oatmeal and different choices of juices.

We stayed on the second floor and found the room was very clean. The bathroom was nice.

What I didn't like or could have been better was the bed could have been firmer and got some noise from the persons on the third floor as the ceiling insulation should be thicker - but this is an older hotel.
