If your in the palm springs area and an adult dont miss this place , it has a very interesting crowd and they party hard . The food is good and the service is better but the real draw starts between 7-8 pm with the music . the owner and some talented guests keep this place jumping all night .70s dance music works well in this place and everybody dances and sings along .The nest isnt cheap and if you want a seat you better get here early , both nights we saw a line to get in after 9 pm and few people leave early. If you smoke they have a patio outside and the doormen are good at letting you in and out . I saw nothing not to like about this place and cant wait to go back . So if your in the area and someone whispers " do you nest? " make it your business to say yes .

Although we only made it for happy hour, we did eat ans enjoyed it very much.
The food was tasty and the service was attentive.
This place is very much a locals place. The new owners Dodi & Kevin Henry know what they are doing and have kept each of their expertise on a winning streak here.
Dodi with her long time history in the restaurant and people business adn Kevein with his delightful music and wonderful people personality.
The history of The Nest is one all of it's own.

Older crowd, noisy, dark old-time decor. Food wasn't bad, but not a lot of healthy choices. Their house sale specialty is a wedge of iceberg lettuce swimming in a sea of ble cheese dressing.

We were there Easter weekend and they gave my kids goodie bags with coloring stuff and some candy. It was nice touch, and I thought it reflected the family ownership.

My sense is this is a placemfor locals and their guests. Everyone seemed to be greeting each other, standing and visiting at tables. Waiter brought our appetizer out with the main course and never brought my wine until I told him it was too late and I didn't want it anymore. He brought it anyway and charged me for it even though I prefer to drink my wine while I am waiting for my meal. I felt like we were treated as the tourists we were, not one of the regulars

It used to be that The Nest in Indian Wells was easily defined as a singles bar... for octogenarians. Twenty years ago the reason why younger visitors visited this iconic Coachella Valley eatery was to watch elderly single men and women perform gracious mating rituals in earnest, perhaps hoping for another glimpse of an enchanting evening long ago.

Today, The Nest still attracts an older clientele in the late afternoon, as their aggressive Happy Hour menu offers an array of appetizers at a flat $6.00, including bar-portions of spaghetti, salads, fish tacos, and a burger. Once Happy Hour gives was to regular prices, and a talented electric pianist pumps up the volume in the bar, the older folks begin to drift away and a middle-age crowd takes over.

New ownership has helped implement this new strategy with a certain amount of success. The dining room still provides the classic "Nest" menu with fine dining selections, white table cloths and great service. Still, as the demographics change at the seven o'clock hour, the atmosphere changes from calm and gracious to up-tempo and lively.

The Nest is a great place to mingle with locals and visitors and enjoy a great time. The live entertainment and dancing was awesome. The crowd ranges for 70's to 20's...everyone is in!
