“Enjoy the stroll...”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Enjoy everything from the exercise to the sea life. It is possible to see Dolphins, Seals, Pelicans and other sea life from the pier. Talk with the many people fishing (it is free and you do not need a license to fish from the pier). Or stroll down to the end of the pier and watch sunset. Do this on a Friday afternoon and shop at the farmer's market. Certain Fridays also include music put on the Imperial Beach Business Improvement District.

“One of the best views in San Diego! Just salty air, tacos and beer!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

When coming to Imperial Beach take a walk out on the pier. It is fun to see who caught what fish and stand at the railing to watch the surfers wait for the perfect wave. Continue out to the end of the pier to the Tin Fish and get a fish taco and beer. It is a beautiful afternoon!! One bit of advice, it may be warm at the beginning of your walk but it gets mighty chilly farther out so don't forget to take a sweater, and in my case Kleenex because I always get a runny nose in cold and a bit of wind. Oh and if you're in love, go for the sunset!!

....and you can see Mexico. It's just a great place for a great stroll...and there are also clean restrooms at the foot of the pier. All in all, mellow and fun

“Loved spending time on the pier!”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Made several walks out the pier while vacationing in Imperial Beach. The sunsets there are second to none! The restaurant at the end of the pier has very limited options for food, but those that we did try were tasty enough. Beer available, and you can enjoy whatever you order out watching the many sea birds, the occasional dolphin and just the pure magic of the ocean around you!.

Great place to go and walk. Lots of people to watch, plenty of fisherman. Ample street parking at no cost.
