My mom, daughter and I stayed here for an extended weekend for Mother's Day. It looks a bit worn on the outside, but the rooms are great! The front desk staff was nice and very helpful! The room was very nice! Flat screen tv good sized bathroom and the room was decently sized as well! The pool was great as was the hot tub! The breakfast? Holy spit! It was amazing! Fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, pastries, juice, tea, coffee pancakes, hash browns, cereal and awesome bagels! I would return to this hotel in a heart beat! The price was great for it being a holiday and the hotel only being about 5 miles away from the beach. I thought the distance was nice and the drive was quick and painless! If you want a motel that's inexpensive, nice and in a decent distance to the beach, check this place out! I'm glad I found it!

Stayed for one night on recent trip to Huntington Beach. Hotel looks just so-so from the exterior but rooms were quite adequate - room and bath very clean, beds comfortable. Front desk staff very nice. Computer in lobby. Small but sparkling pool. Free light breakfast in small lobby area - standard continental fare with cereal, juices, hard boiled eggs, coffee. Location is in a commercial area, on busy street. Not walkable to anything, really. If you're simply looking for a good place for one night, at a decent price, I would recommend this hotel.

My kids and I stayed here for a night during Spring Break. We were in town to check out the beach, which is beautiful. The price and location were great, I was surprised at how nice the room is...from the outside the place looks, just ok, but the rooms are very nice. The bed was comfy, water temp and pressure in the shower were perfect. The free breakfast wasn't all that because the eating area is very small, there were no places to sit. The breakfast was not made to grab and go as the milk and juice are not in cartons, they are served in a glass, same for the cereal. Other than the breakfast, it's a nice place to stay just up the street from the beach. I would recomment to anyone.

Although the location was convenient, it was not ideal. There is a car repair shop which on some mornings was noisy. There is also a preschool/daycare right next door. We were lucky the school was out on Spring Break, otherwise there could have been morning noise from the school as well. The rooms had an old musty/stale smell but the furnishings and linens were clean. The beds were on the soft side. One of the queen beds definitely needed to be changed. We kept rolling into the indentation that was in the middle of the bed. The other queen bed in the room was better but still on the soft side (and not in a plushy or memory foam kind of way). The shower had good water pressure, was hot, and clean. The walls of the rooms are thin. When the person next door was taking a shower I thought it was our shower running. There was a decent selection for breakfast; scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, sausage, yogurt, pastries, tea, coffee, juice, milk, hot chocolate, bananas, & apples. The people at the front desk were nice. Would I stay here again? No. The smell of the rooms made me question the cleanliness of the hotel. Although everything appeared to be clean, we could not get comfortable. Not sure why there are so many rave reviews... (photos of the school & car repair shop located next door posted)

Room Tip: Do not get a room next to the stairs. People were going up and down in the middle of the night makin...

Lady at the front desk was very nice. They are renovating some rooms for handicap, but it was not a problem. Hotel was very clean.

We were warned as we signed in that it was not a party hotel and loud noises would not be tolerated. In the middle of the night I heard loud yelling- and after a bit- they were asked to leave the hotel. Yeah!

Just up the road from Huntington Beach.
Bed was comfortable. Room came with refrigerator.
Breakfast was incredible. Pancake maker, cereal, fruit, eggs, hashbrowns, ham, it just kept on coming. Wonderful.

Definitely would stay here again.

This is one of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed in--room was a good size. Clean and quiet. Staff was really nice. Bed was comfortable. I didn't have the breakfast as I had to get to a meeting. The room was well stocked with toiletries--things one would get at a more expensive hotel. I somehow managed to book my room for the wrong night, but the desk agent was super nice and changed my reservation for me. Fairly close to the beach. If you need some place of excellent value, this is it! The property itself isn't much (mostly parking lot), but if you want to jump in the hot tub and then go to bed, this is your place!
