I was originally supposed to stay here for two nights, but after one night, I checked out. With the exception of an excellent location, it was awful. The television in our room buzzed loudly during half the channels. The sink was about two feet from one of the beds and it was leaking if you turned the knob the wrong way. I complained to the front desk and was told that they were in the process of making changes. Breakfast is served in a very small room, with seats for 8 people. The only thing that looked somewhat appetizing was the yogurt (because it was in a sealed container). The orange juice tasted like Tang. If I were to do it again, I would skip this hotel and pay the same price to stay somewhere nicer a little further from the beach.

A one night stay passing through on our way south. The hotel is walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are OK but we did have problems with the sliding glass door in our room not working. Noise from the heaters in other rooms is audible, and even with the heater on we needed an extra blanket. Traffic noise isn't intrusive, but also audible. Pillows seem to be a cheap foam as others have commented. Staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was good. There is another BW heading out of town which is a short drive away which trades distance for a pool and some would say quieter rooms. All in, a good stay but could be better with some small improvements.

So, we decided to try the Best Western Huntington Beach Inn. The view is wonderful. Not much else was.

The rooms were really in need of updating. The staff was not friendly. It wasn't as clean as we expect.

After a few nights, we decided to change hotels and ended back up at the Best Western Regency Inn. They do not have a view! The rooms were larger. The breakfast was better. The staff is very friendly. The rooms have been updated and are much cleaner. Our only complaint is that there are never enough towels left in our rooms, but when we request them, they are delivered right away.

We are glad that we tried the BW Huntington Beach Inn. We felt that we were really missing the beach staying at the other hotel, but found out that the view just isn't worth the accommodations and unfriendly/uncaring staff. We won't return.

The room needs 1 extra blanket and some pillows that are flatter, not so spongy.

Enjoyed our stay and good breakfast choices. The lighting in the underground parking was great!

Location was good, close to the Hunting Bch pier.

This was our third stay here. As always, it is about the location. It is hard to get better than across the PCH from the Beach. The staff as always is friendly and they were accommodating of my wife's chemical sensitivity. The provided breakfast gets one going and the proximity to restaurants in walking distance is great. The rooms are good and the third floor view is one of the things we look forward too each visit. The internet access we used was wired, however our net-book said it could see the wireless router. We chose the wired for security reasons and the speed was good. The cable and TV in the rooms are only average. The devices are CR Tube and not flat screen, and the cable is not HD and there are limited channels. But with the beach and restaurants close at hand, how important is this? I think that in the end it is acceptable. I like this hotel and enjoy staying here.

Room Tip: Again, I like the third floor about mid way down the hall on the North side. The extra large rooms...
