I visited this hotel with my family in late July for four nights and loved it. From the second we arrived we were treated brilliantly, with staff attending to our every need. The rooms were brilliantly comfy, with free wi-fi being a great bonus. The pool without the water slides was amazing, yet I can't vouch for the other one - we never felt the need to visit!
The restaurants on site were brilliant and the fire pits for smores were brilliant, a tradition our family has carried on ever since! would recommend this hotel to absolutely anyone.

Room Tip: partial ocean view doesn't have much of a view, although having a balcony is still brilliant. Yo...

This has to be one of the better hotels in Huntington Beach area. The facilities are beautiful and there is an awesome shopping area with restaurants and a small grocery store to stock your room or grab a quick bite before you head to the beach. Ate at a couple of the restaurants, including the Californian and the Surf shack, and found the food to be creative and the menus to be interesting.

The hotel rooms were spacious and very nicely equipped. They have coffee makers with Starbucks but did not have a mini-bar, which was slightly odd. The staff was very helpful and took care of every need. This is a great place for families and is a wonderful central location on the beach in HB.

There is very little to complain about when it comes to this hotel, it has everything you want and it in a perfectly beautiful setting.

Room Tip: Book very early if you want to try to get Ocean front.

Nice hotel with nice amenities but $34 a night for parking? I arrived from the Beverly Hilton where I was paying $38 in the middle of Beverley Hills!
When we arrived we were told parking was $34 a night. No mention of the extremely large public car park over the road and accessible via a bridge from the hotel for $15 a night. By the time we were advised by the parking attendant it was too late to move the car so will be disagreeing with the $34 hotel charge on check out. Why did the valet Parkers not mention this when we arrived? Better tips perhaps? Only drawback is the car park closes at 9.00pm but given location close to the Town Centre this has not spoilt our enjoyment.

I also note the comments re $25 resort fee. Despite paying via a travel agent for an inclusive package this was not registered by the hotel (despite it being on the confirmation) and took 24 hours to sort. Agree with the comments as to why this is not included in the large room rate.

I would have never thought about coming here until a friend recommended this hotel. We took our 3 year old for a 2 day getaway and regret not staying longer. After a 4 hour drive we got to the hotel about 10am. The front desk was very helpful and friendly, she let us know that a room was being cleaned and she would call us as soon as it was ready.

Beach- easy access to the beach, hotel provides towels, chairs and umbrellas. It was less crowded in the mornings. Clean, fun and my kiddo loved it.

Pools- there are several pools on site, one that is very kid/family friendly with 3 water slides. We went later in the day and it was hard to find a lounge chair. They do rent cabanas out, maybe worth it if you are staying all day. We went one morning at 9am and had the pools to ourselves.

Restaurants- a few on site, one that sells pizza that came in handy with a 3 year old. There is also a small grocery store with snacks and a small Starbucks inside. There are restaurants that are close by, under 5 minute drive.

Hotel- the hotel is very clean, big! The room was nice as well. They had several fire pits thought out grounds so kids can make s'mores. They sell kits for $9, makes about 3 s'mores. Every staff member was very friendly!

We loved this stay and are looking forward to going back next summer!

Loved, loved, loved the Hyatt. Everything was so beautiful.

Really enjoyed the complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys. We spent most of our time at the beach!

In response to some concerns about road noise...we heard none. In fact we couldn't even see the road (Hwy 1) from our oceanfront room. So please don't let that keep you away.

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

When booking a room try to get breakfast included...this will keep you from sticker shock when you find out the breakfast buffet is $24/person.

Only one complaint...the fees...$25 DAILY resort fee AND $34 DAILY parking fee. Really Hyatt? Come on...this is outrageous! $500/night should include something more than just a smile and a bed.

I have not been to this Hotel in a couple of years so I was worried that it would be tired and worn. Much to my surprise it is as beautiful as ever. The rooms are clean and large. The location, landscaping and view are amazing. Although the hotel was booked the staff was wonderful and accomodating. We did have a horrible view on a ground floor room. There was a patio but the partial view of the pool and ocean was blocked by a hedge. I think they should remove those so the patios are open on the ground floor. I will choose this hotel any day over one on a tropical island. Thanks Hyatt for not disappointing! I will be back next summer.

Room Tip: We were on ground floor and told we had a partial ocean view. This would only be true if I stood on...
