“Loved this resort - great location!!!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Stayed here recently with my daughter just overnight while in California for a dance competition. Wanted to spend some time at the beach. The property is beautiful, nice rooms, friendly & good service. Property has a bridge to cross Pacific Coast Highway & get you to the beach. Chairs, umbrellas & towels available for use at the beach. Very convenient to go from pool to beach easily!!! Would definitely recommend this resort.

Stayed at this lovely resort while attending a conference. The rooms were really nice and clean. The bathroom was large and stocked with some great supplies if you left your lotion or toothbrush at home. The pools and hot tubs were very inviting and the pool bar service was good. They seemed to have many programs for children which is a plus if you are traveling with small children.

It is right on the boardwalk and you can walk to the main strip if you wish. They also have bikes you can check out for a small fee. It is a pricey but would recommend it.

All in all very good experience. Crowded week so you did need to get down early to claim your turf, or you may not find chairs. Really liked the small
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was good by the pool and in the restaurants. Beach access over the bridge made life easy. They do have beach chairs towels and umbrellas available for beach usage at no charge, so no need to bring them.

HRHB resort is a very nice hotel located just across PCH from the beach. There is a pedestrian overpass provided by the resort (only one in town) to get over to the beach. It is a little bit of a hike down to the water, but the beach is very clean and nice.

The hotel pools are nice, and there were plenty of chairs each day. The waitstaff at the pool was attentive and nice. There are two pools...one targeted at kids with slides and another lagoon style pool.

The rooms are spacious and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurants were nice, and there are several options to choose from.

It is probably a 20 minute walk to HB Main Street, or a short cab ride. There are lots of restaurants and shopping in this area. The hotel also rents bikes if you want to get into town that way.

The weather is the best. High 70's in July. Yes! One day is got to 82 and all the locals were complaining about how "hot" it was. I told them to move to Texas.

Huntington Beach is a delightful place to spend a vacation, and the Hyatt Regency provides a true resort experience to allow you to relax and enjoy Huntington Beach. The hotel is lovely, the rooms comfortable, and service is great. They even have a list of things you might have forgotten to pack and will bring you a little bag with things like packets of Woolite, makeup remover wipes, etc., if you call housekeeping. The grounds of the property are gorgeous (so much so that it seemed every time we walked through the resort we came across a wedding party!) and they have everything you need if you want to stay completely on-property (restaurants ranging from high-end to a casual pizza place; a small grocery store; souvenir shops; surfing and bike rentals; several pools and dive-in movies). However, it also makes the perfect home base from which to explore Huntington Beach itself. A private pedestrian overpass takes you over the Pacific Coast Highway and directly onto the walking/biking/skating paved road and then to the beach. A short walk to your right as you exit the pedestrian bridge takes you to a choice of the pier (try Ruby's at the end of the pier for diner food with killer views) or Main Street. I highly recommend renting bikes and heading all the way to Dog Beach north of Huntington Beach. I love this Hyatt! A little tip - at the koi pond near the spa, they feed the fish in the afternoon (check for the exact time) and will give guests cups of food to feed the fish.

First time to this hotel, meeting up with family for Fourth of July holiday. Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Definitely pricey but you get what you pay for. Our room (deluxe King) was spacious and the pool/courtyard/ocean view was super. If you can afford it ask for deluxe King with view of main pool -that way you'll get ocean view too. It was crazy busy but hotel staff kept up with the crowds and service remained great. Huntington Beach is short walk across landbridge directly from the hotel and complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas are nice amenity. Our four grandkids were part of our party and the kids pool is large and the slides and hot tubs were big hits with the kids. We had negotiated the morning buffet in our room rate and its a very big spread. One thing about this location is there are nearby shops and restaurants but they are about one mile away---in downtown Huntington Beach. Again, everything here is pricey so negotiate the best deal you can and ask for complimentary breakfast to be included. This is a great property, great beach and a fun oceanside town. There are no downsides to staying here except as noted its on the pricey side (but of course we were there for the 4th of July week).

We have 6 children so when we travel we always get two hotel rooms. This was the 2nd year staying at this hotel in the summer. Everyone one of us agreed this is the best hotel we have ever stayed out. Our last stay was 6 days and when it came time to leave, we didn't want to go.
One of the best parts of this resort are the amazingly nice staff. Everyone of them makes you feel like you are special. A big shout out to Heather J. One of the pool managers on duty when we were there. We spend a lot of time at the slyder pool and she made us feel so very special.
Melissa and Lauren were also exceptional and so good with our kids. One of our kids even made Melissa a s'more because she like her so much!

Location to the beach is also amazing. And to top it all off you don't even need to worry about bringing your beach towels, chairs or umbrella with you. They supply that all for you free of charge!! Can you believe that!

This Hyatt has thought of everything to make your vacation as special and wonderful as possible.

This family is a huge fan of your hotel! Way to do it right guys!
