We had such a enjoyable stay at the Shorebreak. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly! The location is perfect 1 block away from main street, a quick easy walk to everything! I really enjoy boutique style hotels where it is quick to grab something from your room, to get to the lobby and the street. The courtyard is a perfect place to lounge and enjoy their happy hour (free wine) between 5-7. The decor is modern and cool (note the wall by the bottom elevators and upstairs lobby wall are made out of the inside of wetsuits, so cool). We loved that the place was dog friendly (to all sizes) and loved seeing everyone with their dogs! Having use of the beach cruisers made for a perfect day of riding up north to enjoy the beach scene and nice little spots along the way (we loved Sea Legs bar/food/music venue near sunset beach).

Room; I had mentioned (when booking by phone, online res. was not working for some reason) it was our anniversary weekend (can't hurt to mention it right) and was pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a king suite! The also sent a card and chocolate strawberries, such a nice touch! The room is huge with a separate little living space, desk and couch area with small bar fridge. The bed was oh so comfy and made for very restful sleep. The bathroom...I would die to have that bathroom at home...gigantic tub, shower and nice lighted mirrors. The bath products were very nice and I plan to order some because I love the fragrance of the lotion. Nice peek a boo view of the ocean and pier from the room located on floor 3 over the entrance.

Bar/restaurant: great bar with good cocktails. Lovely decor and friendly bartenders. We didn't get a chance to eat there but the food we saw being served looked very good. The restaurant seemed to have a steady flow of patrons enjoying their drinks/food.

Again we just loved the location and that the staff goes out of their way to be genuinely friendly and chat with you. Special thanks to Cameron for being so nice and letting me stash my stuff as I had a later flight (everyone there is just so nice :). We ended up adding another night and they gave us the same great rate (the package deals on their website are the best value) We can't wait to return and would highly recommend the Shorebreak!

My wife and I stayed at Shorebreak Hotel this weekend and had a wonderful time. We highly recommend staying with them.The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay.The rooms are well appointed and very quiet. We enjoyed 5 O'clock Wine Hour each evening and played games on the patio around the fire rings. It was so much fun. Fresh coffee in the morning, bike rentals in the afternoon and smores after dinner. It was awesome!. The asian fusion restaurant was very good. Delicious food and amazing cocktails. The atmosphere is beachy with a relaxed vibe. We can't wait to go back!!

Nice indoor/outdoor bar to grab a Saturday happy hour drink and bite while we waited for our room. Who has weekend happy hour? Shorebreak, that's who. Yummy tacos, great wine selection and martinis to make the husband happy.

Ping pong table, large chess board, great chairs, couches and footrests all around the courtyard. Fruit flavored water dispenser throughout our stay available in the lobby. Bikes, beach chairs, towels and boards to use, super cool vibe with all the extra amenities.

Extremely pet friendly place with well behaved furry guests. Huntington Beach is surf city, dog town, too.

Afternoon wine hour is a nice touch but morning coffee is such a necessity. So glad they provide hours of coffee with a smile.

The room was nice, clean, simple with everything we needed. Comfortable bed with good pillows, great shower products and fluffy towels, robes too.

The staff is super friendly, they utilize text to communicate, awesome. Even requested a late check out via text this a.m. Nice!
