I went to MFG tonight with a very picky party of three. Everybody was very happy with their meals. All three different meals were done perfectly. I especially liked my Good Earth Salad with seared ahi for only $9.49. The halibut dinner plate was only $14.95 and the fish was perfect. It was about the most expensive item on the menu.
The portions are substantial and the food extremely fresh. The atmosphere is bare bones and the ambiance is "fast food" but the food is definitely as good as it gets. Fine dining restaurants would charge $35 per plate for what you get at MFG for $10-15.
I'm sure I'll become a regular. One funny quirk is that they serve no coffee -- because they are right next door to the Tea Leaf and Coffee Bean store. I guess there was a non-compete clause in the lease. I don't think they would object at all if you went next door to get your coffee and brought it back.
