“I prefer over Sunnyside”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Our third visit. We tried a variety of items on the menu. The food is always good, not great, but a decent value. The wine list is impressive though paying over twice retail for an moderately expensive bottle seems unwarranted. The two big draws to this restaurant:
1. The panoramic view, both inside and outside, is extraordinary. When dinning is available on the pier, spectacular.
2. The wait staff. Young and professional. Well trained.
3. The free valet parking. Very convenient.
Tables are well spaced providing a measure of privacy. We will again return.

“Great Location on Lake Tahoe”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

outdoor seating on the lake shore or on a pier in the lake. summer only. a really nice setting. some people boat in, drop off at the pier and tie the boat up at a buoy. some interesting boats to watch. You should plan on a wait. We had a 30 min wait but were told that was low and it can be much worse. Complimentary valet parking is convenient.

food seemed to be very good. This was our first visit and it was lunch. Prices are high. Value is good not great. You are paying for the location. Took a quick look at the dinner menu. It was much more expensive. Most entrees were in the $20 - $40 range.

“Great setting but too pricey”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Boated up to the restaurant and took a 'taxi' to their pier. outdoor seating at the end of the pier. it was awesome. The food was fair. Small portions. Only problem was the service was slow and the food was overpriced. It was about 40.00 per person for the six of us.

“Highlight of a long Labor Day weekend”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Decided to go out for dinner despite not having reservations on a busy Labor Day weekend since we did not plan ahead. Showed up at 7 p.m. and were able to snag seats for the four of us on the outside patio seating area. Comfortable wicker like couches surrounding a fire pit table. Ordered drinks...French Negroni, Ketel One martini and wine for two in the party as well as appetizers...Ahi sesame chips and crab and corn fritters. Everything was delicious! The sun was setting and a beautiful moon was rising from behind the mountains on the eastern shore of the lake. SInce the soonest we could be seated at a table was 9 p.m. we opted to have dinner where we were sitting. Buttermilk dipped fried chicken (boneless breast of chicken) with mashed potatoes, skirt steak, wedge salad, and a house salad. The only disappointment was that the kitchen ran out of avocado so they stopped making the cobb salad.
The view was incredible, the evening wasn't as cold as it usually gets, so the heat lamps made it a bit warm. Service was slow to get started but once we had the waiter's attention he did not let us down all evening. WIll definitely go back there again despite the horrendous traffic of the last summer holiday weekend.
