“Awesome food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We were near by wine tasting at their winery and stopped in with family-friends who had eaten at the Grove before. If didn't disappoint. Causal, comfortable dining, nice staff and awesome food. We loved it!

The fresh variety of food selections were on display where you placed your order. Everything looked so delicious that it was really difficult to decide what to have. Loved the fried brussel sprouts, pizzas are great and don't get me started on the desserts. Mixed drinks are a bit pricy, but bring a bottle of wine from their winery to enjoy with your meal and they don't even charge for corkage.

“The Grove is the bomb”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Great food! and the Apricot freeze margarita was the bomb! Planning on having a class reunion celebration there in the near future. Great location and casual atmosphere in their back patio area.

“Good food, best pizza ever and a different approach to dining.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 28, 2014

The Grove has the best pizza, thin crust and just the right amount of cheese, plus fresh ingredients. On Thursday nights they have a special for $8. and a beer for $3., so of course we
go every Thursday night! The other dishes are wonderful as well. It can be confusing to order, as you view the different offerings, then go to order. They give you a number, so they know which table to deliver it to. That is the extent of the service. One time we left our table to pick
out a dessert and they cleared the table thinking that we had left. The décor is a little Restoration
Hardware. The orb chandelier is obviously theirs, but the rustic tables, chairs, painted cement floors give it a spare, but upbeat feel. There are issues if you sit near the bar area, very noisy
and hard to get around the people standing in the walkways, also hard to put in your drink order
with people socializing and blocking access. They usually have live music on the weekends outside with heaters available. Would be great in the summer!

“Great but Far”

This is a great casual restaurant with good food and wine. It's just a bit far from us especially for during the week dinners. Great location for Sunday brunch.

“Extremely disappointed and will not return!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 15, 2013

Driving up to the restaurant at night, it looks stunning from the outside with all the twinkling lights in the trees. But that is where our wonderful evening ended. As we entered the restaurant it became clear that we had to order right there! In fact you look at a chalk board and examples of the dishes shriveling in front of you (complete with flies landing on them). Right then and there, we almost left. But we were meeting others, so we stayed. So you order your meal, pick up your roll (which was hard), pay for your meal and go to the dining room carrying a number on a stand. Oh yes, and you order coffee and drinks at a separate stand, and drinks in yet another stand. You can also come in and just take out desserts etc., but you have to stand in line in what is a very confusing area, with the diners. So after making our dining choices, we went into the dining room. It was quite possibly the noisiest dining room I've ever seen and you have a choice of sitting in high chairs or picnic tables with benches! I couldn't hear a word anyone at our table said. The food was just OK. One of my companion's pizza (wood fired) was burned and had very little in the way of toppings, another's meat was overcooked. If you want to bring your own wine and it's not from Leal (who owns the restaurant), the corkage is $25.00. I asked about the ordering system and they say it is so they can charge less for the food. Frankly, I will not be back. I would rather pay more for my food and have a quiet restaurant and pleasurable ordering and service dining experience.
