“Consistently good”

This restaurant has been here forever. We go here about 4 times a year and always get the lasagna. The pizza is quite popular. Service is quick.

“Went Downhill Fast, They've Hit Bottom”
Reviewed January 16, 2011

We've lived in the same neighborhood as Two Guys since the days when this restaurant was the "Happy Steak". We liked the Italian food at Alfredo's on Baseline in San Bernardino, but it's located in an unsavory part of town so we were thrilled when the owners of Alfredo's opened up Two Guys Pizza and Pasta. If I had written this review 2 years ago it would have garnered at least 3 if not 4 stars. Howsumbutever, since that time I've had a change in my work schedule which brought me in to eat during the afternoons instead of in the evenings. With this change I've noticed a very lackadaisical attitude from the wait staff and even the owners themselves if they even bother to show up & oversee the operation during the day. Cleanliness and food quality have also been sub-par during the day. Just imagine la cucarochas running around between the tables and flys buzzing around your head. The food has never been delectable, but they are, or at least were, better than most Italian restaurants in southern California. The last couple of times we ate there, the marinara sauce tasted old & bland, not freshly made, and the meatballs had zero flavor. What really kept us returning time after time after time though for evening dinner was the fresh bread hot from the oven that was served with wonderful garlic butter. The last 3 times we ate here in the afternoon the bread we were served was cold & tough. Made us wonder if it had been stored in the refrigerator overnight from the previous day's dinner service. That is absolutely inexcusable in my book, and so we have not returned. A loaf of bread from Food4Less and a jar of Prego is preferable to what is currently being served at Two Guys. Even though the total dining experience at Two Guys has hit rock bottom, the owners see fit to continually raise prices. Good-bye Two Guys, it was good knowing ya while you were good.

“wonderful and delicious”
Reviewed December 23, 2008

Two Guys is a wonderful restaurant with great service and delicious food! My Family and I have been going to this resturant for over 10 years and it seems to get better all the time. Whether you want pizza, pasta, a great salad or just some bread, Two Guys is the place to eat.
