We spent the weekend at the Beach House with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchild and would definitely recommend it for anyone with a family. The location -- right on the beach -- can't be beat, the rooms are roomy, clean and comfortable and the breakfast is low key but a great no fuss way to start the day.

My family and I stayed at The Beach House during our most recent visit to Los Angeles. We wanted an authentic 'beach vacation' after staying a few days in LA.
The Beach House was fabulous. The staff were helpful and always friendly. the hotel couldn't be nicer and the location is PERFECT!
There are shops, local restaurants and lots of activities within walking distance from the hotel.
We rented bikes at the local bike shop and biked all the way to Venice & Santa Monica. What a perfect day with lots of little stops along the way.
We all loved our stay there and will go back next time we are in the LA area.

Sitting on the balcony with all the beach goers parading up and down the promenade a few feet below, A cheeky Pinot in hand and the sun starting to set over the pier that I think they filmed a bit of La La Land on.
Went up to the nearby comedy club and caught Jay Leno doing stand up.
Woke up and went outside to watch a troupe of athletic young women practicing volley ball only to be joined on the balcony by my wife when the USA mens national beach volley ball team started their practice.
Great holiday memories from this place.
This is a five star hotel with all the stuff you would expect in this price range. No disappointments. Great soft big bed, Good sized room that stepped down into the sitting room and then onto the balcony. Beachy (New England?) décor. good sized bathroom. Very clean, No pets. Friendly staff. Valet parking. Tick, tick, tick go all the boxes.
Criticisms-the complimentary breakfast is continental..
Coolsville baby. Take me back there right now.

I decided at the last minute to escape the New York winter and found myself making a reservation at the Beach House. Again, a perfect stay, my room was on the first floor facing the ocean, breathtaking view of the beach and ocean. If you are lucky enough to secure one of these rooms sunsets are a treat and I didn't take them for granted. I had no real plans for this trip so I slept in, ate out (Hook & Plow on Pier, not to be missed, excellent food and service), visited a few friends and for the first time, turned on the Fireplace the one morning it was raining and just read. Still the same friendly staff, super nice Hostesses in the Breakfast area, and a competent Front Desk Staff, what more could you ask for. I can only say great things about this hotel, it is lovely and well run. If you decide to give it a try, you won't be disappointed and you will keep returning over and over as I have done for so many years.

This is my third time at Beach House. And again it was the right choice. Perfect location, facing the beach, close to the pier, restaurants and shops. The room is equiped with safe, microwave, minifridge, 2 Tvs. Plenty of space. Wifi working properly. Breakfast - all that I need. Planning to stay next September.
