We've been here three nights in a row - a big plus as it's right next door to the Quality Inn. The atmosphere is great as it's like an old-school diner, but the choice of meals is vast and wide. We were able to have some waist-friendly options, with lots of veggies and lean meat with some fresh mash and gravy. The meals are heading towards the larger sized portions, but have that home-cooked feeling and flavor to it. The guys are always friendly and no sour faces here. I had to try the cookies and cream cheese cake on the last night - decadent and worth the afternoon run to work it off!

It honestly was like walking back into the 40's here, the decor was brilliant, newspaper front pages of the day were around the walls, the menu was extensive and the staff were outstanding. Would strongly recommend.

Ocean Diner is always packed on weekends. But the staff handles it so well. The wait is never too long and they give you free coffee outside while you wait. Love the coffee- the quality of it is always good.

Once inside the specials are always fabulous looking, but I usually get a greek omelette (with their amazing home fries) or the granola french toast. The decor with all the old toasters and the WWII era newspapers is also something I really like. It's all worth it; however, it's not a place to loiter on weekends. You do feel a bit of pressure to move on and let the staff turn the table.

One of these days I going to come back for lunch or dinner and more of the comfort food menu. Or a milkshake or a pie. Mmmmmm, pie........

Been a few years since I had been here. Yup, worth the wait. Same decor, including coffee urn outside while you wait on a Saturday morning. A couple of family members have diet restrictions and both had no problem finding something on the breakfast menu. Every time a plate went by to another table it was "what was that, it looks good". Good value, friendly staff and GREAT food.

fresh food, huge portions, as healthy or decadent as you like. Beware the long wait on weekends, but it's worth it! Truly a local institution -- the service is terrific and you can customize your meals. Our entire family loves it for any meal of the day.
