The hotel website description no doubt will reel one in, however once arriving one will find it is no different than a standard/average Hampton Inn. The hotel is located on an extremely busy street, so depending on the direction of your arrival, pulling in can be difficult. Hotel rooms are laid out in a maze like format, which is stressful, and are standard/basic Hampton rooms (i.e. cheap bath products, bargain furniture, blah free breakfast, etc..). The hotel boast it is in the "heart of the action", but in reality the "heart" would be the far corner. There are NO close by dining options of good taste unless you like fast food, however, there is one sushi bar and it was okay (we all know Sushi bars are a dime a dozen in Cali, so…). So, unless you are ready to walk what feels like a country mile to experience good or decent dining...good luck to you.
Bottom line is this...you want a clean room for the night and you don't mind forking over the cash, then sure..go for it. However, this is a Hampton that thinks way too much of itself when putting a price on its rooms verses true value for the money. I would only stay here or recommend if there were no other options.More
