Boy howdy, if you like young men with tattoos and exposed pectorals, this is quite the place for it

I had the carnitas plate which was very good and a couple margaritas which were good but spectacular

Still, even if the food wasn't good it will be worth having a drink and admiring healthy young bodies

Thank peter m

Back from nearly a year abroad i has lunch at this little gem this afternoon. Great selection of margaritas and the guacamole was wonderful. Before you order anything, study the menu very well because the the list of "small" plate options include a tasting menu for guaco! The small plates are each enough for a meal for one person so bringing a group of about six would allow you to try more. We had three plate for two big eaters and took enough hime for dinner. The setting is a block from the beach, outside eating is an option, the service is excellent, fast, friendly and the prices anre reasonable. Any native Californian would love coming home to this place!

Our first visit was such a great experience we went back the next day! The bartenders, Kyle, Kevin, Cade and Abby were friendly and their mixology talents were appreciated. We tried the Watermelon Smash Margarita with jalapeno & mint, the Spicy Mango Margarita with jalapeno and cucumber, (Our favorite!) the Pineapple-Serrano Cilantro Margarita, the Mexican Colada with jalapeno and basil, coconut puree and fresh lime juice. Each drink was made to order and to perfection! Our two visits became a tasting experience! The Blanco Ceviche made with Chilean Sea Bass was excellent! The Queso Fundido is served with sauteed mushrooms or chorizo and served with homemade tortillas (Kevin suggested we try a combination of both) another amazing appetizer. The sweet corn tamale de Pollo, and Mole Blanco Enchiladas were also delectable. We walked on the pier which was very alive with various activities and listened to the band which performs every Sunday in August on the beach! Great Saturday night and a beautiful Sunday afternoon!

Cool Decor, good Food, Great Margaritas! Long list of tequilas and a slew of margaritas to a goose from. Fresh Squeezed line and Organic Agave make these drinks the best for me. The food is up to par as well. We opted for the regular guacamole and it was delicious. The tacos were good. Love the vibe.

It is a small space so get there early of your party is big or call ahead!

This was my second meal at Palmilla, and it was just as good as the first. Fresh tortillas are great, and completely addictive with either the salsa or the honey butter. Tasty and distinctive ceviches (the three-ceviche sampler should actually be an entree, not an appetizer … very generous portions). Great enchiladas, and many interesting side dishes I wasn't able to try, but will on future visits. Also a beautiful setting.
