This Sushi Kitchen is the best. Our daughter lives in Hermosa Beach and took us there. The place is extremely clean. If you come early, you are seated immediately. The wait staff is very attentative and friendly. Our 4 person party ordered a variety of sushi and entries. We started with the spicy edamame. OMG!!! It was soooo tasty my wife & I returned two weeks later just to start with the Spicy Edamame. The steak Kabob was done to perfection with just the right sear. Small salad comes with and a small scoop of steamed rice. I had the Turnout roll which was spicy and just plain orgasmic! Lovely wifey had the cucumber salad, and chicken kabob, both of which were to return for ( and we did). On first visit, daughter & BF had a variety of sushi, which I sampled and was duly impressed. We will return there each time we visit HB, guaranteed!
TIP****Go early. There is no secret this place is good as it gets packed on weekends and during the dinner hour. If I had one issue, it was the place had like 9 televisions going at one time, with Bruce Lee movies on several of them. The place is a little loud as well so if you are looking for a quite romantic restautant....well maybe this is not for you. But do come for the food and go to a romantic place another time!!!
Parking is a nightmare in this beach community, as with all beach communities, so bring quarters, lots of quarters! The parking meters on Pier Avenue accept Credit Cards, but not on Hermosa Avenue or any of the surrounding streets. May 25 through Sept 15 non-residents are limited to one hour parking on residential streets. So don't park there more than an hour...YOU WILL BE CITED.Parking is enforced until midnight on the main streets, not sure how late on the residential streets.
If you go early, take a stroll along the strand after dinner or go down to the pier, which is just across the street. Beach Communities afford great people watching!
