We gave Chili's a 2nd chance. Upon arrival about 1/3 of the tables were available, but we had to give our name and wait ten minutes. We were told that at 5:30 pm, "All of our help has not arrived yet." While waiting for our food to arrive, the wife played a "free" game on the tables gizmo. The screen said that she could play all weekend for free. When the bill came, it showed a 99 cent charge for the game. We had it removed from the bill and the assistant apologized, saying that it did that to everyone, but she will take it off the bill. If it is doing it to everyone, why not warn customers in advance? The wife had the half rack of ribs with just the dry rub, no sauce. She said that they were very good. That was the only high point of our visit. I had the Southwest burger and asked that it be "medium." It came well done, which was dry and disappointing. I had the Texas cheese fries which were over cooked and most were stuck to the skillet. Jamie was our server, she was either a bit slow, overworked, or as the person who sat us said, they were short on staff, as it took about 10 minutes to get 2 iced teas. I think that we know enough about this Chili's and we will go elsewhere from now on.
