We very much enjoyed this place, arrived there during the deluge of late February. Rather than riding our bicycles, we walked into town (1 mile) through flooded paths and streets, enjoyed many wine tasting rooms and great restaurants. It was a very different vacation from what we had envisioned, but always coming home to our room. We were offered a small sitting area for an extra $10, and that is the only glitch... all of the daily taxes were added on to the upgrade. Other than that, the breakfasts were great... eggs and bacon or sausage, yogurt fruit. Good coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful. We parked our car for three days and didn't move it. Walked instead... which might be a little far for some, with all the food, it was needed. But also enjoyed the fitness room each day. We are in our 70s.

Room tip: A room with access to the fitness room and lobby without going out in the rain.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the third time and once again we were impressed. Our room (I think it was called the wine country suite?) was so beautiful and we enjoyed a dip in the hot tub and some time by one of the many fire pits as well. Check in was quick and easy and a nice breakfast was included in the morning. A great stay!

Stayed here four days, but won't again. Construction going on made the pool area dusty. Room was very small and cramped. Air conditioner fan was noisy even after maintenance came to try to fix it. Shower backed up (see photo). Seems like housekeeping would have noticed when cleaning. Hot breakfast was good. The security gates made this place feel like a jail.

Thank you for completing a review regarding your recent stay at our property.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.

I must admit the headline used to describe your stay is a bit confusing.

As you experienced, our hotel is in the middle of a $5 million renovation project and there is a great deal of construction activity going on, at this time. Unfortunately, because we are a live business which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There really is no perfect time to perform this type of work without some disruption to our guests. These activities are posted on both our web site and on Best Western.com, so our guests are aware prior to making their reservation.

Additionally, I am sorry you experienced a couple of maintenance issues. They have been recorded by our team and are being addressed.

Our remodel project will be complete by the end of April. It is my hope that you will reconsider staying with us again, so that you can experience our newly remodeled rooms. We are very excited to see the finished product.

I have been staying at this property for weekend and midweek getaways for over twenty years. It has always been a good value, particularly if you stay midweek. Though the price has risen with the increasing popularity of the area, they have made improvements to the rooms and amenities making it very pleasant place to stay. The staff is courteous and professional and the breakfast and dining room are very good. Location is 5 minutes from the town square. You can stay at a hotel on the square for six to eight times the price if you want, but I'd rather spend my money on the great wines and restaurants of the area.

Due to BW booking computer error screen cut out twice while making booking. Third time I got a
confirmation screen. Wanted one room for three nights. Unknown to me until the day before arrival
BW booked me in for 3 rooms a night for three nights. They are charging me for the two error bookings. Very uncooperative management. Sending complaint to Attorney Generals office in
CA and WA. Business center does not work and is dirty. Was informed no laundry soap for days.
At 10 am asked for change for 20 dollar bill. None. Asked for quarters, none. What a disgrace.

Once again, thank you for posting another review in respect to your billing dispute with our hotel and Best Western.

Please find below is a repost of my response to our in house survey which you completed yesterday.

I am sorry we were unable to come to a mutually acceptable resolution to your dispute.

Dear Mr. Xxxxxx:

Thank you for completing the survey regarding your recent stay at our property.

Your business is very important to us and we value your feedback. By telling us what you liked about your stay and how we can improve, you are helping us deliver a superior experience for you and other guests in the future.

Our hotel received three separate reservations made by you on February 12, 2019 for arrival on February 26, 2019. The reservations were received to us from bestwestern.com and each reservation had a separate confirmation number. Unfortunately, we were not advised this was not correct information until your arrival at the hotel on February 26. Whereas, you only needed one room reservation. Being that our hotel has a 72 hour cancellation requirement, all three reservations were non cancelable on the day of your scheduled arrival.

It is my understanding you met with Mr. Netzsosie, the Assistant General Manager and he thoroughly reviewed and explained the details of the reservations with you. Since, we received your reservations from bestwestern.com and you are a Diamond Elite Best Western Rewards Member. Mr. Netzsosie recommended you contact the Best Western Rewards Customer Service desk, in order to assist you.

It is our hotels position and continues to be, that all three reservations are valid. I am sorry you disagree with our position.
