We and our friends were surprised to be upgraded to large B&B style rooms. Clean, large, well- decorated quiet room, fireplace, large tub. Good breakfast, convenient location, inexpensive, and friendly check in/out staff.

Room Tip: Ask for the Tuscan wing 2nd floor.

Unfortunately, we had to stay in the older wing because of our dog. Room was tired , haven't seen a tube t.v. since my mothers place. Wondered whether the elevator would make it up to the third floor each time. Breakfast was very minimal at best . I'm told the new wing is very nice so if you stay.......!
This was probably the least attractive of the 3 Best Western we stayed on this trip south.

Dear Trip Advisor Reviewer:

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. They are most appreciated.

I wanted to let you and all our other Trip Advisor reviewers know that we have completed the installation of our new TV’s. On Friday January 25, all our Vintage rooms had 37" flat screen LCD TV's installed. Therefore, our guests no longer need to watch TV on grandma's old 1990's style tube television.

The entire staff and our guests are thrilled this installation has been completed.

Once again thank you.

Sincerely,

Aaron Krug

We stayed in the Tuscan wing which is the superior wing. Our room was very nice- large with gas fireplace and in tub jacuzzi. Tub was nice as it was below freezing out and we did not want to make a dash in the cold to the hottub. We had two "except for" complaints. One, considering that the Tuscan wing is supposed to be luxurious, the towels definately were not luxurious and there were only 2 of them. We have stayed at many Best Westerns in recent years and have always had more towels. Note it was late when we noticed the towels (after using the jacuzzi tub) and we did not feel like dressing and braving the cold to get more. Our second "except for" complaint concerns the so-called resort fee. While the amount was small we were never told of it - not when we checked in and not when we checked out. Both times we were told the exact price including taxes would be a specific $ amount. At checkout for some reason they were unable to print a receipt for us and they said they would email receipt for $$ to us. When we received the email with detail it was the first time we found out about the resort fee. I don't know what the resort fee was supposed to include as it really wasn't a resort - just a couple of pools and hottubs. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on the food although it did not appear to be anything special.

We were there for 3 nights. The service was fine, the room was large and comfortable --- and included a fireplace with gas logs. The latter heated the room nicely. There is a breakfast included, but don't get too excited at the prospect. It is food but nothing special. It was also a convenient location for the area.

This was my 3rd stay at your hotel and I will definitely be back again. My first stay is still the best. I have only reserved the hot tub suite rooms and 2 new Years Eve's ago I stayed with a friend. It was quiet and relaxing. I also love the town of Healdsburg and that it is within walking distance. I will definitely be back this Summer to work on my tan.

I spent two nights in a king suite in the newer Tuscan section of the hotel. The room was adaquate in size, but the excellent layout made it feel far more spacious. The fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and well placed amenities made this an excellent choise at a very good off season price. A couple of nits! The toilet kept running, but when I told about the staff about it, they immediatley called maintenance. The breakfast rom was spacious, but they kept the blinds closed making it kind of cold feeling. The breakfast was adaquate, but the addition of more cereal choises (special K), maybe fresh bagels and non packaged fresh pastries, strawberry jelly would be a good addition. They just added a pancake machine, never tried it, but it looked interesting.
