My boyfriend and I loved our stay at this beautiful hilltop B&B. We stayed in the Sake Room. Bella Villa Messina is tastefully decorated (you can tell Jerry and Harold take great care) with a nice patio to take in the views. The inn is only a few minutes drive from downtown Healdsburg. Jerry and Harold were most hospitable, helping to plan our outings each day and assisted with making our dinner reservation. Jerry suggested great winery recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious - I'm pleased that Jerry's Hawaiian French Toast recipe is now on WineCountry.com. If you are lucky to have a chance to taste Harold's carrot cake, please do. Bernice, Brindle, and Baesel (and Cancun and Zorba) simply added to our memorable experience.

Convenient location, wonderful hospitality, and the vistas! Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We'll see you again.

Jerry and Harold were spectacular hosts - wonderful breakfasts (can't say enough about that french toast), relaxing happy hours (need to find Point Reyes bleu cheese somewhere in Texas), and exuberant assistance with our daily plans. And we felt like we got the royal treatment in town when Jerry made reservations for us for dinner. Our rooms were comfortable and the view from the patio was so relaxing. Our hosts and the other guests were so interesting it was hard to leave happy hour for dinner. We love dogs, so enjoyed having the three little ones around.

We got the royal treatment while staying at Bella Villa Messina - I'm ready to move in! Cocktail Hour is not to be missed and the breakfast is great! Jerry and Harold will help you plan your trip and do anything else they can to help. A very cool place to stay with three hilarious little dogs. We highly recommend and will definitely return!

It's been 10 years since I first visited Villa Messina, and was welcomed back as though I just left! Jerry and Harold are wonderful innkeepers, and go out of their way to make your experience memorable, and feel like one of the family. I brought my parents, who accompanied me on my first trip, and they were equally as thrilled - it's rare to find such wonderful personalities and accomodating hosts, not to mention the lovely rooms and breakfasts - nothing like waking to the aroma of freshly baked bread! Thanks so much guys - thoroughly enjoyed our visit (again!) and will definitely be back!!

Just returned from a popular and fun wine event in the Dry Creek Valley and we chose to stay at the Bella Villa Messina, high up on the hill.

This is a fabulous B & B where we've stayed many times before. As usual, we saw many of the same guests from years past and that's part of the fun of staying at Villa Messina. The hosts make the stay warm, welcoming, and comfortable. We hung out and reconnected with our old friends and made some new acquaintances also. It's friendliness always makes us want to come back.

Although it's tastefully decorated, it's not stuffy or too formal. Guests can, and do relax - in the dining eating area or sitting out on the deck, having a glass a wine, admiring the view and watching the llamas graze in the field. We spent Friday night, after dinner at Cena Luna, chatting it up with the other guests in the living room, sipping wine and listening to music.

Rooms vary in size, and those wanting a more private experience can select two rooms with private decks and oversized tubs. We don't spend that much time in our room so we opted for a smaller room with a shower only. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets were satiny.

It's situated in a nice little neighborhood and we took a walk out the country road each morning - hoping to walk off all the wonderful food pairings we sampled the day before. It's fairly close to town, but not walking distance.

Definitely worth checking out if you're looking to have a fun experience in the wine country and enjoy the company of other friendly people.
