We came early for breakfast, and glad that we did, as this restaurant fills up fast. Very nice ambiance. The bread is special. We enjoyed our breakfast. Intuitive service

“Le Petit Dejeuner in Healdsburg CA,”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

Did a bit of research on where to have breakfast in Healdsburg and was so glad to have found Costeaux French Bakery. My husband and I opted to share the French toast and yogurt and granola bowl. The French toast was easily shareable due to it's size and richness. For me, the best french toast ever! You can't beat the bread it was made with or the fact that it was soaked through with egg. The berry compote on top is a nice touch. I liked the granola enough to buy some for home. Enjoyed the cake sample that was offered. Overall good taste in a cute unpretentious atmosphere. One final note, take home some biscotti if you want the authentic kind that should be dunked to enjoy - loaded with chocolate chips and pistachios - very good :-)

“Ta Da!”
Reviewed June 14, 2014 via mobile

Healdsburg is a small town. We were at the Sonoma balloon festival in Windsor today and wanted a nice breakfast.
We're visiting from Salt Lake City and just took a chance, and it's clean, cute, nice atmosphere, friendly service, and most important- breakfast wasn't greasy! (How many diner places have those shiny, greasy breakfast potatoes as an afterthought?) I had bacon and eggs that came with a little basket of toast and perfectly crisp, fresh potatoes. The coffee is strong and topped-off regularly. We bought some croissants, biscottis, and muffins to go. Try the Cinnamon Walnut bread too.
After so many gross places, it was a happy surprise to find a great breakfast spot. You'll be glad too!

“Unexpected”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

We were referred to Costeaux from the staff at the Murphy Goode tasting room (which was also a fabulous experience) Costeaux feels like an old family bakery but the food is gourmet. The breakfasts were decadent and the homemade breads were unbelievable. The decor is charming and overall just a great experience.Eggs Benedict was one of the best I've every had.
