Owner description: Moshin Vineyards is a boutique winery and tasting room located in one of the most desirable and world renowned wine growing regions; the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County, California. Our wines are delicious and timeless representations of carefully farmed fruit grown in highly prized locations. These winemaker-tended vineyards are farmed with respect for, and characterized by, the utilization of sustainable methods and biodynamic traditions. Our four-tier, true gravity-flow winery is constructed to harness the purity and capture the finesse of the “heartbreak” grape variety of Pinot Noir. Our wine making team works with diligence to honor and preserve the character of each vintage and vineyard site. We are open daily for wine tasting. Tours of our winery are available by arrangement in advance.

Was the first spot we stopped for tastings and were reserved waiting for something better. The tastings at Moshin were the best we had. Purchased 6 bottles and look forward to a return visit

We went here on the recommendation of our motel, and were very pleased. Nice tasting by Sean who gave us a lot of info about Russian River wineries and a handful of intro cards for nearby tastings that saved us a lot of money later. We enjoyed the wines and watching the many hummingbirds there. Some trip to get there but worth it. Make this your first Russian River stop and you'll get a great intro and freebies.

My wife and received a list of vineyards from our resort and Moshin was one of many. Put Moshin at the top! Well worth the trip! Very quaint and personal experience. Great wines and we love the hummingbird logo! Pete our pourer was the most noble of ambassadors for Moshin and the area! Don't plan a Sonoma or Napa trip without visiting Moshin!

Delightful small, family-owned (I think) vineyard that specializes in excellent pinot noirs (although they do have some other wines.) The logo seems to be a ruby-throated hummingbird, which goes along with their play on words (Moshin = motion). This winery is a bit difficult to find from the south; Westside Highway is a narrow, twisting road that almost seems like it goes nowhere. There are a number of wineries along it, mostly to the north. Newcomers to the area should be advised that it is a difficult road to traverse, especially with anything larger than a standard SUV. And it probably is wise to have a designated driver. We saw two major traffic accidents while 'cork-hopping' in the area.
