My husband and I had the best experience at Dry Creek. It was our last place we visited and we completely fell in love! These people are gems and their wine is fantastic. The only wine club we joined. You must go!

We searched the internet the day before we arrived in Healdsburg, and thought the Dry Creek Vineyard looked promising. We reserved a spot for the 11 AM tour while we were still in Sacramento, and thought we'd be just fine. So of course we had a late start in the morning, had no cell phone service, and missed our tour. When we finally arrived, the staff was very kind and booked us into the next one. The tour covered everything, inside and outside. Our guide, Karen, did a wonderful job telling the history of Dry Creek and describing the way rootstock and vines are chosen and tended through the growing season, and answered endless questions from our every member of our small group. She gave generous opportunities to compare various wines. At the end, we were sold, and joined the Zin Lovers Club. Now I'm looking forward to having lovely wine show up at home here, back in our everyday lives. I can't wait to go back!

Full disclosure - we're members. We love so many of their wines, the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is so comfortable. We can buy a bottle and go sit out on the lawn in the sun and just relax. Great place and great wine!

We have been members for a number of years, but live on the East Coast. This year we were in No. California for the members barrel tasting. It was very well done--a comfortable easy pace. The staff were great at answering questions. Dry Creek wines are well done and the barrel tasting of two reds was very nice.

Nice people and a wonderful location. The general store just up the road is a very good source for lunch to bring back and enjoy on the tables outside the tasting room.

We took some friends from nearby Windsor, CA and they were also very impressed. This is a real quality operation.

Although we went during the busy barrel tasting weekend, everything in the tasting area was just the best, with great pairings of nuts, breads, dried fruit and more. The staff was friendly and knowledgable--and talked about the wines with real enthusiasm and knowhow. We came to Dry Creek because of the labels, but we stayed because of the taste, and fell in love with the place because of the people. Can't wait to go back!

I love your sentence - We came to Dry Creek because of the labels, but we stayed because of the taste, and fell in love with the place because of the people. That does a great job of describing why Dry Creek Vineyard is such a special place
