Seriously - delicious food, fun & funky souvenirs, wine, and a bar all wrapped into one built-a-century-ago package? I can't love this place any more. We stop in everytime we're in the area, and get breakfast foods, picnic items, and sometimes souvenirs. We haven't stopped by in the evenings for a drink at the bar yet, since we're usually a bit pickled from wine tasting all day, but it's on our list - it looks awesome; lots of locals and tasting room employees hanging out.
We usually get a selection of the freshly made salads and crackers/cheese/salami, but have also had the sandwiches, which were excellent. I can also recommend the breakfast items, and all the delicious snacky things up by the register - really, it's hard to go wrong.
The ONE downside is that this place gets crazy on weekends, particularly nice ones, holidays, or during an area event. Best to visit early and get some ice and pack your picnic with you - it will save you a 45 minute wait in line for food. So far, everything's been available when we've stopped in around 9 - 10am, so no issues with buying early.
Seriously - if I win the lottery, I'm buying a house/vineyard on Dry Creek road and coming here every day.
