After a week in and around the San Francisco Bay Area, I was a bit burned out on Italian, seafood, and brewery options for dinner. I was happy to a well reviewed Mexican restaurant pop up just a few minutes from my hotel. Yes, the restaurant is in a strip mall, but once in the doors you will neither notice nor care. The margaritas were delicious and they had a decent selection of beer on tap. We had a hard time deciding what to eat because the menu had so many good options but ultimately settled with things from the Traditional Entrees section, eschewing the burritos and tacos for options that would hopefully give the kitchen a chance to stand out. Our food was very good, filling enough, and, perhaps most importantly, not more of the same that we had been eating the whole trip.
