Excellent wines tasted for only $5 per person. Lovely location with great views and a very nice tasting room. The lady who hosted our tasting was very good, helpful in answering our questions and we did not feel pushed to buy wines, but we did as they were so good! This experience was better than expected.

Lush vineyards on a Sonoma County Hillside, perfectly nestled on the further end of Dry Cry Rd. A small winery that doesn't distribute to retail but is definitely worth a visit. They had a couple of whites and an array of reds, our favorite being the port. It is distinctive in that it is not overtly sweet yet has a flavorful finish-pairs well with chocolate.

We loved the relaxed, casual atmosphere there. We had a lovely picnic at the picnic tables and truly enjoyed the surroundings.

We visited the winery the first weekend in October 2012, bringing along another couple who were visiting wine country for their first time. We had been to Dutcher Crossing two prior years, and love the wines, staff and grounds. This visit, the wines were on par with prior visits, especially the Maple Vineyard Zin and two of their Cabernet offerings; however, the staff knowledge and attentiveness was sorely lacking. We began to wonder if we were invisible, and our friends actually gave up and walked the grounds. We are hopeful that this can be chalked up to new staff that were learning the ropes, so we may go back on future trips.
