Staying here will be the best decision you made for your trip to the Sonoma Valley. We arrived late at night and could not fully appreciate the grounds til the morning. However, after a long drive and day of travelling... arriving in our Tower Suite was worth the hours of airports, car rentals, and navigating our way through San Francisco.
Impeccably clean, inviting decor and a bottle of wine & appetizers waiting for us. It was also our anniversary, so lemon cake and a bottle of white wine with a lovely note was also there for us.

The breakfasts.. my favorite of any B&B,or hotel ever. I would just love to take home the breakfast chef, as I could not wait to get out of bed every day to see what the next creation would be. We could write this entire review just on their breakfasts alone.

Nothing can describe the staff. All were friendly, welcoming and wanted to help us plan our day with tips of what to do. Special shout out to Lupita & Steve. Great conversations and Lupita planned our first day for us. We LOVED it!

There are snacks, drinks available all day. Wine & appetizers at 4 & 5pm. Great way to meet other guests and get suggestions for your time in Sonoma. We met lovely people who had been to Napa & Sonoma many times, we were the rookies... they all said this was their best stay in any hotel yet. They also said Healdsburg was the best place to base yourself. We lucked out for our first time!

The grounds: pool, basketball court, tennis, bocce, croquet, putting green.... you will never be bored. We listened to very wise people on TA, and did not over plan our days. Healdsburg is an enjoyable day and easy to walk to, great restaurants and wine tasting rooms. We loved Boci Cafe and Scopa. Par Take was great for wine tasting and tapas style menu for a light meal. (After breakfast, you won't need to eat for a long time)

We cannot wait to return to Honor Mansion, only wish it was not so far for us.

Room Tip: Any room... We loved Tower Suite, but will try another room next time

We had the pleasure of spending three nights in the Pool Suite at Honor Mansion, and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is beautiful and our suite was very nicely furnished. The staff makes this place special - very helpful with restaurant and winery recommendations and reservations, and attentive to every need. The breakfasts are world class, and the afternoon wine and appetizers are super as well. There really aren't enough superlatives to describe Honor Mansion!

Steve and Kathi are the best hosts! This four acre property is not your typical B&B. Amazing breakfasts, wine tastings at 4 p.m, bocce, pool, tennis, croquet--all available at this wonderful little 18 room gem. Even includes access to a wonderful local health club to work off those wine country calories! Less than a mile from downtown Healdsburg--and a hop skip and jump onto the 101. Staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. High standards on the part of the innkeepers reflect everywhere on this property. Don't miss it.

Room Tip: Some rooms are in the main house. If you want quiet--stick with rooms away from the main building.

This was the second time we have stayed at The Honor Mansion - and it was just as wonderful as the first time!! It is a fabulous B&B, beautifully decorated and with great attention to detail. The rooms are lovely, breakfasts are wonderful and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much to ask of them. Plus the grounds are gorgeous with a koi pond, pool, croquet, bocce ball and tennis. They deserve every award they have received. Way to go Steve and Cathi!!

We stayed at this inn for two night while on our first visit to Sonoma. I booked the reservation based on Tripadvisor reviews and the Inn definitely lived up to the ratings we found here. We had a room in the main building with a beautiful fireplace and spacious bathroom. The room had two small porches (front and back) and was well appointed and immaculate. The staff was well trained and accommodating without being overbearing. Breakfast was delicious and the wine hour and snacks were appreciated after a long day of travel. Thank you again for making our first visit to Wine Country memorable and relaxing. We hope to return in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in the main building and I'm glad we made that decision.... we had significant rain while we were in the area and walking back and forth to the main inn for wine hour and breakfast in the rain would have been inconvenient.
