Fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants. A truly enjoyable meal from appetizer to desert. Courteous and attentive wait staff and pleasant atmosphere. A great choice for our 44th wedding anniversary - As soon as we entered we felt welcome and at home and the meal to come was of exceptional quality.
Starting with the unforgettable Polenta con Funghi - Creamy soft polenta topped with fontina cheese, sauteed mushrooms sauce with truffle oil. So good I wanted to bathe in it.
Next the Insalata Estiva - Poached and marinated red & yellow beets, arugula, with a red wine vinegar and olive oil dressing, topped with feta cheese - my wife's favorite.
Entrees: The seafood Canneloni and the Rissoto di Mare. Both cooked to perfection - each with a distinctive seafood based sauce. The arborio rice was cooked to perfection, with just a little 'bite' of texture to the rice in an absolutely delicious sauce with shrimp, calamari and scallops. The tender Canneloni wrapped around a seafood filling that was accompanied by a creamy Alfredo sauce.
A hard decision for desert - Cannoli or Spumoni? We gave in and shared both! A truly fine finish to a great meal.
