Had my favorite lunch...tomato basil soup and a small Greek salad. The service was prompt and efficient, they left off the peppers and onions as requested and my lunch was everything I expected it to be. It is so nice to see consistency from location to location.

Really enjoy their salads and sandwiches. Usually get the half sand and salad, everything is always fresh. Service is great and friendly.

I moved away from the Bay Area 7 years ago, but on a recent visit had a light meal at Panera Bread. I had the 1/2 sandwich and soup. Both were very good, but I must agree with some other reviewers that the prices are a bit high for the area. However it's nice to know some more upscale places are popping up in the Hayward area to provide more choices.

The bread was fresh and soup (tomato) was delicious. It actually could have used a little more salt and I was tempted to add some. But I decided to eat it without the additional salt and really just enjoy the tomato flavor. Glad I did.

Also bought a pastry to go. It was something with pecans, and was very good with my coffee the next morning!

The sandwiches were fresh and the service was good. Most of their restaurants are top notch and not expensive.
