Stayed here for a few nights while visiting a friend who lives down the street. Sure, the rates are good - but that's because they don't appear to employ a cleaning staff. I'm a single girl who often travels alone - and I've never felt unsafe in a hotel before - but I certainly did here. I checked in late at night and was too tired to worry about it the first night, but I did wedge a chair under the door because there was not deadbolt or chain. Went out the next day and when i got back to the hotel, my bathroom was covered (COVERED!) with ants - in the shower, all over the vanity, sink, toilet, EVERYWHERE. I requested a move and they moved me to another room, which wasn't much better, but at least ant-free. Thankfully, I checked out the next morning. I'll definitely be investing in a more expensive hotel next time I visit my friend in LA.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

Thank You very much for your Complain I appreciated your concern about our Hotel. I am sorry you had an unpleasant stay in our location I would of done everything to make you stay more enjoyable, It Just happened for you to have a bad experience. We are in the process or a remodeling in our property even though it takes a long time but we are working in those areas from rooms to Customer Service. I hope in the Future you give us a second chance if you ever stop in Los Angeles,

Stuck in Los Angeles due to snow at Heathrow and needed a place to stay overnight. It appealed on first glance as it did offer a shuttle service back to the airport. Well the van and driver gave an excellent impression at first, the hotel exterior was ok. But then on check in where the girl barely noticed my presence or crack a thankyou or hello.
One of the elevators was broken, and then you go down a dark dingy dirty hall to the room.
Which had a broken alarm clock, a toilet that had constant running water.
To it's credit it did have free wireless connection. But the best thing is the restaurant. I was a bit apprehensive as it looked like a buffet. But it was cooked fresh to order and was delicious. I only had a starter and salad. But very enjoyable.
In the morning at six am it was difficult to attract the attention of the desk staff and have my check out. Dennys would not be an option for me. And there did not seem to be anything else around for miles.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel if you want a quiet sleep, surrounded by highway

I normally don't give reviews but I am very happy with the turnout of my trip that I decided take the time and give a review and "thank" the staff and management that run Ramada LAX.. I'm from West Virginia and I came out to visit some friends in California for a week... I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Clean rooms, and friendly staff. I managed to sleep well each night and I will defenitly consinder staying here on my next trip back to California.

So flight stuck overnight due to flight cancellation. All other LAX hotels sold out. First room bad-rusty tub, peeling wallpaper- but was only going to be there a few hours- alarm clock broken and phone had no dial tone for wake up. Front desk moved me to a suite which was equally unpleasant but door did not bolt. Odd people doing laundry at 1AM- maybe they do monthly rentals? Room across had nob completely removed, just holes in the door. Felt like I was in a bad neighborhood with abandoned homes. Put chairs and luggage in front of door and waited for time to return to airport. The only good thing about the place- the young man at the front desk had a pleasant personality. Would have preferred spending the night at the airport.

Room Tip: Stay away from this place!
