Reviews gave us an unrealistic expectation. I could have gotten better food at an Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill and I am not a fan of chains! Foccacia was burnt on the bottom, garlic bread appeared to be a bun of some sort that was barely heated with butter on it. Sauce tasted like it came from a jar. I hope this was just an 'off' night for them unfortunately, I won't be going back to find out.

Surprisingly good food. I wasn't expecting much given that this restaurant is sitting in a little strip shopping center amongst the standard corporate fast food restaurants. On par with any good Italian restaurant. We split the lasagne and green salad with anipasto type toppings. Both were excellent. The half carafe of Pino Grigio was good but seemed a little expensive. The teenager had pizza (what else is new?) and it looked pretty good as well. Thin crust. Would definitely return.

Luigi's is tucked behind Hawthorne Blvd in a strip mall, so drive slowly or you just might miss is. The atmosphere was truly the old Italian feel, with outdoor seating. There is disabled parking to the left of the front door, along the side of the restaurant, we did not notice it until we parked in front. The staff is so very kind. We thought the food was great with plenty of coffee refils but too expensive for a basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, and toast.

If you like Itallian food, you'll love Luigi's! If you're in the neighborhood, stop in and try it yourself. I think you'll remember it and will return.
