If you are looking for a kick back, authentic feeling English pub alongside Highway One in Half Moon Bay, Cameron’s is the place to hang your hat. Before you enter, check out the double decker London bus which doubles as the smoking room outside the 100 year old plus building and snap a photo in the phone booth and pretend you are in London. Inside the walls and ceilings are covered from top to bottom with plates, brass, flags, signs, photos, and memorabilia. Margaritas were horrible but beers on tap are terrific. We loved the local Mavericks, around $5.50 for a large mug. Food is typical English pub fare: bangers and mash, shepherds pie, fish and chips. They offer scallops or calamari and chips with cole slaw as well as sandwiches, soups, and salads. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is casual and fun, service is very good.
