This has got to be one of the best camping areas in the United States! The views are spectacular, the town is nearby and it's a nice, quiet beach in the winter months. Be warned that the wind is steady and the breeze is cold so if you're going to walk the beach, bring a coat and hat. During wither months, there is ample parking on side streets so you won't have to pay the ten dollar state park fee.
