“Nice views along the shore”
Reviewed December 23, 2011

Miramar Beach is odd as beaches go. It is chopped up along its route by a small foot bridge (no cars allowed), very close to the shore and near MIRAMAR RESTAURANT (good place to park). Soft sand. The views are nice, and the neighborhood is quiet.

“Very nice walking beach”
Reviewed December 6, 2011

Very nice walking beach. Nice waves. Quiet but still some families and couples walking and playing. An occasional surfer except the very north end where there are alot of surfers.

The view was the best thing at this restaurant. Because the wait for our food was so long, I took the kids across the street to see the dolphins jumping and the surfers.
Even though we had young children with us, we still waited 20 minutes before a waitress came to our table...and another 30 minutes before our meals were delivered. I understand that it is not a family restaurant, but when you show up with young kids, accommodating the family makes the whole restaurant and patrons happier.
Also, it seems that a small drink could come with the kids' menu options. A small plate of mac and cheese for $4.50 will not make me return.

“Flying Fish had the BEST Fish Tacos, Crabcakes and fresh halibit!!!”
Reviewed March 16, 2009

We stopped by Flying Fish right off of Main Street in Half Moon Bay and boy were we surprised. We are heading back tomorrow, the service was friendly, food was outstanding...beware for the hoytie toydies - it's VERY casual and what it lacks in a driveway, low-key, atmosphere, it makes up for in the best fresh seafood we have had in a while. We did not know what to expect when we walked in, half the seating is in a parking lot with planted vines blocking the view of all the cars....Go here and be casual...you will not be disapointed.
