“Mexican with a Mayan Twist”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

Really good, fresh food at reasonable prices. Informal atmosphere, friendly service, and food with unique flavor. So if you're at the Ritz vacationing or attending a conference, being overfed with huge plates, this is a welcome change. This is a spot I'll visit again.

“Very good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

I enjoyed trying Mayan food. I stumbled onto this restaurant by accident. I was actually looking for Mexican food. I decided to stay and try it anyway. It couldn't have been better. It is located in a little house on the corner of Church Street. I will go back there again. I like going to places off the beaten path. If you like unique this is a good place to eat.

“A Little Family-Owned Gem Off the Beaten Path”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

This family-owned restaurant is in a little house on Church Street, two blocks west of Main Street. It is well worth the stroll. The restaurant features Mayan cuisine, which has more of a cilantro/lime/fresh fruit flavor profile than standard Mexican food (which is also on the menu). We have eaten there several times for dinner and breakfast and it is definitely one of our "go to" restaurants. Saturday we enjoyed a wonderful, flavorful breakfast. My wife had a gigantic breakfast burrito and I had the chorizo and eggs (served with warm tortillas, home fries, guacamole and chopped tomatoes/cilantro/onions. They make their own habanero sauce which has a great hint of lime "zing" to it. All in all, a very nice local treat. And BTW, the cilantro is bought fresh from the local market because I see the owner there on Saturdays.

“A bit different menu - a good thing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

The Mayan spin on typical Mexican fare was a nice surprise, and delicious. Good vegetarian options as well. Comfortable old house makes for a pleasant dining experience, fairly small so cozy and allows for attentive service. Would definitely go back.
